  1. This is still dead huh?
  2. I belong to a few but never really see any action out of them. Anybody know of some pretty active ones?
  3. Very clean! I like the color and the wheels n' tires!
  4. I did a 300 conversion on AMT's '69 SS. You can click on my fotki link in my signature for pics. It was a lot of work. Lol
  5. Holy Moly!!! INCREDIBLE work on this!!
  6. Holy COW!!! That thing is AWESOME!!
  7. Kinda stalled out for now. I'm in the middle of opening a restaurant and I haven't had any spare time. I'll get back to it at some point and I'll update here with any progress. Thank you.
  8. Nice lookin' pair! My money is on the Chevy though. Those fuelie cars ran real good. ....until they had to be adjusted and rebuilt.
  9. Great job! '56 Chevy's are not easy to foil!!
  10. What are those things sticking up in the back of the car? Please tell me that isn't the "exhaust" work you've done.
  11. Thank you for the kind words!!
  12. There you go!
  13. They are from Monogram's '66 Chevelle (the black one). I stripped the chrome and painted them with Tamiya's Silver Leaf.
  14. I haven't given it to him yet. He lives in Portland and I'm in Sacramento. I don't want to mail it for fear of something breaking so I've got it tucked away until we make a trip up there. I will be giving him a display case to keep it in so it doesn't get dusty or damaged. I sent him some pictures via text message but that's all he's seen of it. He was FREAKING out though! Lol
  15. Of my original list of kits that I had to complete (before starting any new ones), I'm getting super close on the '58 Thunderbird and the '53 Vette is going at a fairly decent pace so I've been giving the majority of my attention to those two. On the '40 pickup, I did pull out all the pieces you see above (that were painted yellow) the other day and finished cleaning off all of the old dead yellow paint. They are now ready for another round of primer and to get covered in red. It's definitely one that will be seeing much more bench time here in the near future. Stay tuned.....
  16. Two more thorns in my side.....
  17. Wow! I just looked for you and you're right! That's a bummer.
