  1. I don't buy hobby paint unless its clearanced, or one can with a coupon.
  2. Ok as a few of you have seen, I have been working on Instagram and currently looking for rides to post on there. Here is something else that I need....tutorials. Before the normal ones reply about Instagram and eventually stop the flow. If you have Instagram that's great, I can tag you with the credit. If not, there are people from here that are and can verify I have given the proper credit. I have done a few tutorials such as flat tire, rust and others. Two that I desperately need are exhaust and vinyl roof top. If there are any others that would allow me to post the current tutorials I would appreciate it. Thanks to all that has helped so far.
  3. Bingo, now if everyone else would stop ignoring the fact that everyone breaks the law they would stop stressing over something that doesn't even relate to them.
  4. No one thinks twice about plugging phones in when they are low. Like mentioned before. It's five cents if that to charge the car. I'm sure all of us break laws every day. I know most people on here speed and no excuses of five your fine.
  5. Actually he does pay by paying personal property taxes which go into the school. At least we do here. Besides that, that is plain ridiculous.
  6. We shall see.
  7. I like the ones where everyone will diss the v6 cars but yet they love the 4 bangers. I've had people tell me what was wrong with my car, which I knew and I was there for fun and nothing else.
  8. Austin, the primer is on ebay, only gray left. I have the repop of that caprice that I'll let for for half that price lol. Factory sealed.
  9. Thanks, but it's not what I'm looking for. Everything I need is for 1:12 scale.
  10. I just came across a site called hobbypartz it triggered the gears in my brain for some stuff I want to add to a static model. I'm not into the rc stuff yet, would there be any help from you guys for websites to go to. I also need wheels, I do not want to pay an outrages price for anything. Also those that scratchbuild your rides. I want to make all the leds plug and play possibly to run to a board, if not just to run to a switch and battery.
  11. The Problem of recognizing our modern day and even those who have passed on is that no one will reconize them. Outside of the model building community who knows these guys? There are great ship and airplane builders but I have no idea who they are. A model car museum would be nothing more than a air conditioned car show.
  12. That's a transformer that got stuck in the midst of transforming.
  13. Instagram.com is all there is to go to. It's a basic interface when it comes to posting. Hope that helps.
  14. Instagram
  15. Yes I am posting again, When I first posted this modelcars on Instagram we had a few followers. Now it's pushing 300 now I'm getting a lot of pics from these guys and gals. I understand most people want to see if I stand by my word of recognizing them as the builders. I did. to know at that time you can log on to Instagram through their website. What I would like to do is post the wips and underglass builds from here. From those that give me permission. There are a few people on here that have accounts and they can keep me in check to make sure I give the proper credit. Here is what I'm looking to post Trucks of all scales Cars of course. Really would like to post the big boys too Race cars And even dioramas. Also we really really really need tutorials Now we have an email set up if you have other builds or even a tutorial at igmodelcars@gmail.com
  16. Awesome, I hope this is helping you guys that I already have posted. One thing that would help immensely if you guys got IG accounts to post your products. Just a thought.
  17. Anything he can do chuck Norris can do better. Lol jk
  18. I would post those, but I don't do anything with out the persons consent first.
  19. Bill, the reason I ask is because most of the guys and gals that follow have no idea that this is even possible. It's a work of art without the body shell.
  20. Great. This is going to help me as well. I didn't know some of you guys were around.
  21. Thank you, I have began posting, as to not flood them with ads. I will post one different one every day. I also told them to let you know that they came from Instagram, so we can see how well it works.
  22. It has been brought to my attention that some would like to know where to go to get "aftermarket" parts. So here is what I'm looking for. I have nearly two hundred followers for modelcars on Instagram and I want to push some ads for the small guys. Resin caster, decal makers and the like. Nothing special, if you would like me to post your logo, website, and a way to contact you. Just let me know.
  23. Well just yesterday I went and found several rides that had missing parts. They wanted from three to five bucks apiece. Of course the ones I wanted were five. I asked the guy when they would clearance them because I would not pay five apiece. He said well, I will let your have them for a $1 apiece. I grabbed five. A gullwing Mercedes, 57 Chevy 55 Chevy pickup and a 37? Pickup. And a late 40's or early 50's car. I didn't pay too close attention. They were all diecast.
  24. Check rue21 I've seen them there real cheap. And other stores of that variety.
