Thank you for the help, I didn't have any of the stuff on hand so I just chanced it and shot primer and painted it. So far so good. I'll post results tonight.

Nothing right now lol. Had the plans of doing a 250 straight 6 but I'm holding out to drop a v8 off in there. -
A few questions. Are there any white decals out there for logos like street glow, and others? Also laying down carbon fiber, should I do a silver base coat, or color base? Third, I have chrome wheels I want to turn a different color, but as they would have it the chrome will not come off with the purple pond. It just makes it shine even more. So could I just put a primer base then the color of choice? It's automotive primer, not the dollar stuff.

Well, it's tuner time....this time with another wrx I had a little trouble when I laid down the first coat. Had way too many sandpaper marks. So I went back and wet sanded with 4 different levels up to 2k and here is the sneak peek. No clear yet, just a fresh paint job. This is by far one of my best paint jobs, I'm learning patience with sanding, primer, sand sand sand...and sand some more, no not really. Let me know what you think.

At first glance they look right, until you notices that they are mufflers. I would go with them.

Considering my talent, I have to say I have the quality of the dollar store cars. So yes a Franklin mint would be a compliment, from someone who didn't build. Now a builder on the other hand, that's a different story. I have had a lot of people compliment my builds and say they look real. Now I don't know if there is a blank behind that real or not.
-
Thank you guys for compliments. It is balsa wood. Stained with burnt umber ink. I don't know how I've been building without ink washes lol. The car is also washed with the same. The duct tape is actually masking tape with silver sharpie. The blanket is masking tape as well.

Woo this has got my eyes. I have a 66 swb with small back window. I've been looking for this Cali edition. -
I know once I post this I will never finish it lol, but here it is. My first hairspray rust job with some goodies. What we have is the normal 1932 five window coupe. Before we go on, this is a mix between a highboy and coupe. Just the parts I though would go better. I did not have a plan so this is what it ended up being. Hope you enjoy....

Safari works fine, it's all I use. Go to photobucket and click share. One you do that, click on the that's for forums. It will work just fine. -
Done a trade with Marty aka partsmarty. Awesome guy to deal with.

We have buckets, since we live in an apartment. I do not believe the landlord would very happy if I put in a garden.
-
Roger, that's what I need to do. This solder and armature wire works but can't keep it together.
-
The problem is, would be to find a whole rearend. I wanted to use a modern set up, but I do not know what to do to change from leaf springs to shock and spring set up.
-
Thank you, idk why I can't find stuff when I need it. I found one that will be perfect.
-
I've seen a few people building headers, and I've searched around for a tutorial. A few questions How in the world do you keep them together? How do you build the flange? Maybe some others, I just can't think of anything else.
-
Ok this has me in a bind, my skills are not up to par in working with brass to make my own leaf springs, same goes for styrene. My problem is that I do not want the zombie affect on this differential. How would I go about changing this?
-
I can make the brace out of one piece of brass. Well several until I get it right lol. I may try styrene before I am done.
-
Sweet action. If those two fail, I know duct tape will hold lol.
