  1. Very nice build on that winged Plymouth, as I just love dem Mopars!
  2. I'm still "old school" and have a flip phone, but many other people are so in love with their iPhones that they even take it to bed with them, as if the man or women of their dreams will call them one night. Pedestrian deaths are up over 25% and I believe that a lot of them are caused because pedestrians and cyclists are on their phones when it happens. People have NO regards for laws or anyone else these days. Like I've said before that it is an "hurray for me FY" attitude that is very common these days and it will reach epidemic proportions before long.
  3. That's terrible as we were flooded last year when our sump pump broke down. What a mess, and being up in age I had hired someone to clean out our crawl space. After taking everything out and putting it into a staging area in our garage and throwing out the really soggy stuff, they then proceeded to get rid of the water, sanitize the area and then set up a dehumidifier, and four fans to run 24 hours a day for 3 days straight. Talk about noise. While we had three days before they came back, my wife and I had gone through all the stuff set out in the garage and ending up throwing a lot of stuff, maybe 60% or more. Then we bought containers for the rest of the stuff that was to be put back into the crawl space. They came back and removed their equipment, and put all our remaining stuff back into the crawl space. Of course we did have a plumber replace the sump pump with a new one also. Glad that fiasco is over with.
  4. Very nice build on that Caddy, and I have one of those kits in my stash. Someday???
  5. I started building plastic model kits back in the mid 50's as it was MY hobby and have been doin' it ever since, and sometimes on and off. I'm not a fast builder so I have plenty of kits to last me my lifetime and then some, so the FUTURE of the hobby doesn't really affect me at all. Like mentioned before that changes are being made and we'll just have to deal with them. Some guys may just have to start building some of the large amount of kits in their stash and not worry 'bout buyin' more. Life does go on.
  6. NO weight in the nose and no exposed landing gear either as this model will be hangin' from the ceiling.
  7. I picked this up today at my local hobby shop and a bottle of paint, all at no cost as they have an incentive program and I hit the mark to receive this stuff. Hopefully the bomber will be my upcoming winter project, we'll see?
