  1. Here's a few items of many that are in my vault:
  2. Looks good Dave as I have one on the bench also. It will be a gas dragster with the single injected small block.
  3. I was at a C.A.R.S. in Miniature meeting tonight and one of the members was selling some kits and I was able to snag a sealed Revellogram Elvira kit.
  4. Holy ######! That's a LOT of water in those pics Bill. I hope that everything works out for the best for you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck!
  5. All of you guys should be proud of yourselves whether you've posted a box-stock build or one that you went "all-out" in detailling. Can you imagine seeing all of these builds on one table??? It would be totally AWESOME and mind boggling to say the least! Keep them coming!
  6. What an EXCELLENT build you've got there, congrats on a job VERY well done!
  7. I'll have to check it out at my LHS and also the previous issue too.
  8. Great job on the "SquareBird." and did it go together fairly well or were there issues?
  9. I haven't been there since '07 but it's lookin' real good for this year.
  10. I got some ambition and motovation today so I'm at my desk(bench) working on a couple of kits that I have started previously. I hope that I can make better use of my time and work on my models everyday.
  11. I've seen that before Greg and that is awesome. That dentist has some serious money into his place of business. By the way, many thanks for that part you sent me as I received it today.
  12. You did a great job on rebuilding that Sox & Martin 'Cuda.
  13. What an awesome build and excellent work. With all that weight of the four engines I don't think that boat will float do you?
  14. If you want to make chrome plated parts look like aluminum, just give them a couple light coats of Testors Dull Cote. It looks great on wheels and Moon gas tanks as well as other parts.
  15. Wayne, i never noticed the reworked doors on the LRW until you mentioned it. Here is a photo of the wagon.
  16. Terry, You should probably e-mail Rick at: rallen@sharontelephone.com and he can tell you all about the club. I hope this helps.
  17. I would probably make some vertical bars for it and put some mesh behind it.
  18. I'm hopin' to see Norm next month in Toledo and give him some of my money. He is a great guy to do business with.
  19. Great job on the diagram TurboKitty. What happened to Charger Chick, you don't like Mopars anymore?
  20. Seems like there is NO end to this thread of drag racers, which is GOOD! So keep them coming as they all look good and show off the many talents of the many builders on this forum.
  21. My favorite hobbyshop is not in the Chicagoland area but about an hour and a half north of Chicago in southern Wisconsin and it is Model Empire. They have new car kits, old car kits, photo-etched and aftermarket parts, die-cast, supplies, tools, air brushes, slot cars, and even a slot car track. Fifteen minutes away is Greenfield News & Hobby which has 12,000 square feet and a great hobby shop also. In my book it is worth the drive, as I have been to all the hobby shops that SLANT has mentioned, and while they are good they don't compare with the Model Empire.
  22. Tim Pentecost I just knew that you would come through and post some of your fantastic builds, thanks!
  23. I have used some of Pro-Tech's stuff and it is great. I would like to see a kit of a '65 Plymouth Satallite that can be built stock with steelies & dog dish hub caps, built as super stock with the 426 engine, slicks, etc., and also as a match racer with and injector engine, roll bar, moon tank, tach, etc. ALL in ONE kit.
  24. My bottles of Scale Finishes paint say Gloss Enamel on them.
  25. What are you waiting for Tim, jump right in as the water's fine. I know that you have some great builds to share with us. Thanks.
