Yes I have to agree with you about the quality and service from Norm, the owner of Replicas in Miniatures. He is great to deal with whether it's over the phone or in person. I have done business with him a few times and will gladly do so in the future.
Without an inventory of my model kits, I wouldn't want to have to dig through a large numbe of kits to see if I have a certain kit or not. I just pull up the list on the computer and the kit I'm looking for is either there or not. Simple.
Tes Bruce, I keep a "running" inventory of all my kits and they are listed under the manufacturer. I then list the year, make & model, and also the kit #. I hope this helps as it works for me and it is easy to add or delete kits form this list.
I have to agree with George as I belong to two model car clubs and enjoy them both as Ive learned a lot and met a lot of great people. Try it, what have you got to lose?
Harold, I would mark on the frame the center of the wheel opening. Then I would cut off the control arms. I would glue a piese of plastic stock on top of the frame and then glue the controls arms to that plastic stock. By doing this it would center the wheels in the opening and also lower the stance.
When a person has a large collection of unbuilt kits they often find it hard to buy something at their LHS or other hobby shops because whatever is on the shelves, one either has it already or doesn't want it.
Excellent job on those builds Steve. Arnie is a great guy and real fan=friendly and I have been lucky enough to have known him for years. He just turned 81 last month. May God bless him a quarter mile at a time.
