  1. A '62 Impala is kind of too new to have run in the gasser classes. Back in the day the '62 Impala would have run in the "stock" classes. Many people on this forum and other forums use the term "gasser" too loosely and should read The Gasser Wars book by Larry Davis and you would get a good insight as to what a gasser really is.
  2. Really nice job on that Mopar Jon and congrats on the class win at the Nats.
  3. They come with the Landy Charger and the Limited Edition '68 Dodge Charger R/T kits.
  4. Cliff, They are available from Mike's Scale Speed Shop and he advertises in the "other" mag.
  5. Steven, I had heard that silver should be sprayed to block the red from bleeding through. I hope this helps.
  6. Everybody does that at least once. LOL!

  12. Steve, I have heard from a good source that Revell had spent $148,000 on tooling for the Chi-Town Hustler. How true it is, I can't say.

  20. Good th hear from you again Bill, welcome back!
  21. You bet I'm thankful! I'm RICH in many ways and I thank God for ALL the blessings I have received. I used to smoke, drink, have money problems, and all that good stuff. Not anymore, and no I'm not finacially wealthy either. I have ALL the model car kits I will ever build and then some, and I'm thankful to be on a forum like this with a great bunch of guys with an awful lot of building talent. I hope that all of you have a Happy Thanksgiving and count your blessings as things could be a lot worse.
  22. I am a "rattle can man" and like Kris says, warm up the can and the paint (any paint) will flow smoother. I do this on my final coat, whether it be color or clear and it works for me. I hope this helps.
  23. Peter, I don't blame you for being PISSED as I would be too if I were in your shoes. If someone wants something, fine! Just pay for it and be done with it, what's so hard about that????
