    Chris I think that trying to use heat to fix the camber isn't a good idea. Are the spindles plastic or metal. If they are plastic you could adjust the camber by redrilling the holes.

    I think the chassis is white because it is easier to see leaks and other issues with white. This is also practice on jets.
