  1. Some years ago they (amt, revell, monogram?) made a Malibu with decals that said "Funny Hugger"...I cut and changed the Letters to read " Hunny Fugger"...thought it was a hoot...lol...
  2. Looks to me to be a 70's K model 750. I had one when they first came out. Nice trike..gotta get one of those..
  3. Nice build......you wouldn't lose that in Wal-Mart's parking lot...lol
  4. I know what you mean about the bad body molding on this kit. I have one on the back burner that has the same problem. It looks like the car is off about 1" side to side with the drivers side being the worse. I'm doing mine gasser style and hiding the bad body work under satin black paint...lol. Yours came out fine, I like it alot. There's just something about those old station/delivery wagons.
  5. Wow!...Now, that's just cool all day. Good job Yvan...good job indeed!
  6. I'm not a mopar fan... but dayummm...that is a clean..nice build... The only problem I have is with the heater hoses. The red wire just doesn't work for me...I think larger sized black tubing would have looked better. But that's just me...small problem for such a nice build...good job

    33 Ford Coupe

Yummy....what a gorgeous little coupe...man, that is sooooo fine Doesn't nail polish just make the coolest colors? I bet I have more bottles of nail polish than my wife and 3 daughters do...lmao

    DRAGULA

Nice build....I always loved this car...I watched this car make a pass at the strip one year...don't remember which strip it was...Orange County, Irwindale, Lions?....but it was fun...pretty quick too for the day.

    Uncertain T

Nice job on one of the coolest little T's ever made I bet more of these kits got bashed for the motor's and wheels / tires than any other kit...
  10. Krishna...first of all...both of those came out great...good work. Ya gotta love those vdub's...I know I do A question about those kits...do the engine and transaxles come separate, or are they molded into the chassis? I've been looking for a vw kit with a detailed engine and transaxle to use as a donor kit to build a replica of my trike, and I just don't have the skills to scratch build one.
  11. Man...the ONLY thing wrong with that car...( in my opinion, having been the proud owner of a '56 merc ) .....is that it's spelled..MONTEREY.....no "A". Yea, I know, picky, huh?...lol Sorry, but I just couldn't find anything else terribly wrong...you just built it too good man..
  12. Man..that's cool! And so refreshing to see a FORD engine instead of the oh so common chevy's in the engine bay. Congrats on a well done roadster, very clean!
  13. Looks sorta like something Janis Joplin would own if she were still with us....lol Absolutely killer model, though...incredible paint!
  14. Oh man, I took my drivers license test in one of these things in 1963, at 16! You ever try to parallel park one of these behemoths? I felt I should have gotten a ship captains license for that! Thanks for the memories...sweet build!
  15. goes to show ya...there is simply no fix for stupid....
  16. Nice tribute and very well done. I lost my step-dad to cancer, so that brought a lump to my throat.
  17. The pics are fuzzy, but the concept is cool...I like the open roadster thing you got going on...kinda reminds me of my trike...lol
  18. The ONLY thing I found wrong with that.......was that it wasn't on MY shelf....
  19. Thanks man, but it's all the parts you're using, that I need...the motor, transaxle, and frame... I surely do appreciate the offer. If you run across another one though, I'd be more than happy to pick it up from you. Meantime, guess I'll check out e-bay, see what I can find. Good job on the build so far, can't wait to see it done. I've always had a soft spot for v-dubs.
  20. Is that kit still avaliable? That's EXACTLY what I need to build a replica of my trike.
  21. That's a tough one to answer...everybody has a different idea of what's cool. Now me, I tend to like things a lil different...I think it'd be cool to cut the top in half and make a truck out of it...sort of a Mercanchero...Mercamino...Merc-up...lol...you get the idea. If you didn't want to build the bed, just put a tonneu (sp?) cover over it and call it good. Actually anything you do would probably look good. They are a classic design and make sweet customs, lowriders, lead sleds. Killer paint and cool wheels and you have a hit...
  22. Wow! Beautiful paint on a perfect little truck....nicely done!
  23. That is absolutely incredible! The engine compartment is the highlight...NICE work!! Any interior shots?
  24. Oh good Lord...is nothing sacred anymore?...
