  1. Sounds interesting to me though my skill level is NOT competition level.
  2. After looking through this build all I can say is, " I will go back to my paint by numbers now." Unbelievable craftsmanship.
  3. I'd cough up a quarter,it is entertaining sometimes.
  4. I know that to some of you more experienced guys this is going to be a dumb question but; Where would I cut in order to make a flip front end on this 41 Willys. I'm thinking follow the line of the fender where it meets the body. ??? Wow I can't load a picture for some reason.
  5. Not to worry you have lots of company. Mine are the 1940 Ford and the 1956 Ford.
  6. As a child, when I was learning how to write my name my father made me write it 500 times. Most of it was scribbles to be honest. I had to redo that 500 times with this thought firmly planted in my mind. Your signature is who you are to others. Write it as if you are proud of who you are, what you believe in and stand for. To-day I have a very neat and legible hand writing even though I am left handed.
  7. That's good news. And it's something we can all agree on.
  8. Born 1986. The wisdom of our youth.
  9. Skip, I agree with you 100%. If the picture posted I tried to put up it is a twenty year old picture. The hair is all gray now.
  10. As they have on us all. Just pulling your chain a little.
  11. Doesn't interest you ?? Jungle Pam, no interest? Your older than I am.
  12. I thoroughly enjoy building models. And even though that is true I just went through a 3 week slump of doing nothing on the bench. I usually keep a couple of really simple builds in my stash just for those times. We all go through it, and we all come out of it, building more and better models.
  13. Never really thought about it before but I wouldn't have to worry so much about dust if I built like this.
  14. Good Lord, why didn't I think of that. Old age I guess, you know a case of CRS.
  15. I'm getting prepared to build a 41 Willys. Now it's supposed to be built as a drag racer but I'm thinking more of a street rod. Can't come up with a color that would look right for the body. I'm thinking a black and gray interior. Ant suggestions??
  16. I, myself, just got back into building models after a forty year absence. The model you picked is a great model. Yours looks good, nice job. Love those 66 and 67 Chevelles.

    Police Car ??

Now I will admit that it has been a long time since I had any dealings with the Police. This was also the first time i ever built a kit that was a Snap-Tight. But an unmarked car with a lite-bar. No antennas? Oh well, no decals either.
  18. Actually we had seven inches of rain in April so I guess that means I don't live in a dry county. Oh, wait a minute, that's not what you meant.
  19. That is a nice looking truck.
  20. I'm not one that loves the hot weather of summer. There's grass to cut, flowers to plant and so forth. But I am sick of this cold, rainy weather. Sitting on a river bank fishing, going on picnic's and such really sound good right now. But no, we have cold temperatures and rain. It's so cold and damp I can't even paint any of my models as the paint would freeze dry. May,1, is the day our furnace gets shut off. Wife's rule not mine, trust me.
  21. Enjoy yourself and share with us your knowledge and techniques. Your OK in my book.
  22. All I know is that when I consider Dr.Cranks skill and expertise at building models I have my alarm clock set and am waiting anxiously.
  23. Wow that was neat. I got 83% 40 of 48.
