  1. The distributers haven't received Demon and Ford truck kits yet. That's why we haven't seen them yet. Shipping holdup due to the holidays. I hope Round 2 is looking into this.
  2. To clear things up, it's definetly TT-1 medium green metallic. I can show the paint code that's on the fender tag on my 68 Coronet that I pictured. Carmac is correct about the FF-1 having more of a silver frost green. When you put both TT-1 and FF-1 cars next to each other there is a drastic difference that can be seen.
  3. The 68 Coronet that I own , which is pictured, is TT-1, medium green metallic. 1968 FF-1 is a light green metallic.
  4. Dodge Coronet. No Plymouth Coronets. Plymouth did the Belvedere, Satellite, Roadrunner and GTX.
  5. Looks like we are going green today. Here's mine.
  6. That's not correct. The Superbees also had the curved bottom shape as well like the red car that was pictured. All 68-70 Coronet 2 door hardtops and 2 door post cars had the curved bottom on the rear glass. What you are seeing is just an illusion that makes that bottom part look straight when it's not. Here is a 68 Superbee showing the curved bottom of the back glass just like the one on the red car in a previous post.

  8. If it's just Tamiya acrylic enamel, I would use the Duplicolor engine enamel clear. When I did my model building service I used Tamiya acrylic and clear coated with Duplicolor engine enamel clear. Gives a great finish, does not run. Never had any problems with that.
  9. Correct. That kit is a gasser but you can do stock an custom as well. Would love to see Round 2 use the back in the day box art on this kit.
  10. Maybe send them an email. They are pretty good replying to emails they receive.
  11. The real name of the car is the Torero. But, it's nearly identical to the Charger lll. I received my first Hotwheels set in 1968 for Christmas. This very car pictured was in that set.
  12. Since the Warlock is coming out, I think we will see more trucks. Speculating; 72, 73 and 74 Dodge Adventurer trucks could likely be the ones we will see down the line somewhere. For cars; the 67 and 68 Galaxie's may not be very far off. 67-68 Cougars , 67-69 Falcons could also be subjects in the pipeline as well. These are all subjects that we see consistently on the highly requested subjects list.
  13. Here is the Hot Wheels version of the Charger lll.
  14. Is it regular acrylic enamel or acrylic urethane base? A 2k clear will be very durable and less prone to chips. Maybe you can give us more info. What brand is the paint you are using? As stated by someone else; follow what the paint manufacturer recommends. If you can get a spec sheet by downloading it that's going to spell out what you need.
  15. Steven's International showing the MPC 68 Coronet Hdtp kit listing and box art. MPC PLASTIC MODEL KITSMPC-9751/25 1968 Dodge Coronet Hardtop w/Trailer $42.99 TBA
  16. Absolutely. Much more cost effective scanning a vintage kit. More than likely Round 2 has access to one already . I would bet this is probably on their list of projects slated for production in the future.
  17. HPI Guy builds the MPC 1971 Dodge Demon.
  18. I saw and heard that last night too. Glad I did the preorder for the Demon. Looking forward to this one. He also mentioned that the Demon kits shipped out yesterday or shipping out today to the distributers.
  19. I do agree with you that the shows and swap meets seem like social gatherings. Nothing negative about that. There's more to just the contest and swap meet, and yes it does become a social function.
  20. Good idea , but the direction Round 2 seems to be taking is to focus more on kits that builders have been requesting for a long time; ie; 68 Coronet, 71 Dodge Demon, Time Machine Chevelle AWB drag car, 60-63 Ford F-100 trucks, etc; which have been recently released or slated for release very soon. Just speculation; but maybe Round 2 will clone Craftsman kits from certain year time periods once they get through requested subjects.
  21. Most definetly look into doing the 67 Galaxie hardtop kit. It is a highly requested kit.
  22. HPI Guy shows gives us the what's in the box review of the upcoming MPC 1071 Dodge Demon kit.
  23. Is the shipment of 71 Demon kits on it's way to the U.S yet?
