  1. Hopefully, there will be a few resin conversions available for this kit.
  2. I'll probably wind up buying this kit for the body and use the rest of the parts for Tom McEwen's Plymouth Dealers Association Barracuda. The new body shell is a stock Corvair, apparently.
  3. The Yenko Stinger logos are missing.
  4. I have the 1965 and 1966 versions, the 1969, four previous releases, and a Prestige Series version.
  5. I just ordered mine, and I really hope it's worth the wait.
  6. How are the decals in the kit?
  7. I've got the kit, and I'm planning on using a Competition Resins body, which is more accurate than the kit body. For those of you planning on getting the Competition Resins body, it is intended for building the RESTORED version of the car, which is part of the collection at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, which is currently undergoing renovation. Before the museum closed, I went and shot a ton of pictures of the MALCO Gasser.
  8. Ordered the new '69 Corvair kit. Should be here in a few days. Really hoping it's worth the wait.
  9. The box art is similar to the original 1969 box art, with the exception of adding the stock hubcaps.
  10. Has anyone ordered the new '69 Corvair? I'm sure some of us would like to see the kit contents to see if it's really worth waiting for.
  11. If anybody gets their hands on this kit, please post a photo of the decals.
  12. That's odd. One actually ended up on eBay and sold for $10. The same guy also found the funny car and everyone went nuts on it and it sold for something like $60, just so they could have it a few weeks early.
  13. Supposed to be out by now.
  14. The '69 Corvair kit should be out any day now
  15. Do they also have pictures of the stock version?
  16. I would too, but in my opinion, the Custom 2-door is a really really great kit. The Del Rio is going to be even better.
  17. This is getting better every time. I would be way too scared to build one of these.
  18. What size wire would be appropriate for making throttle return springs to accommodate the P/E throttle linkage from Model Car Garage?
  19. I would certainly have no problem painting a two-tone paint job on this beauty. Just not sure what color I would want to paint it.
  20. I'd definitely build this one factory stock.
  21. I'm so glad they're bringing back the SWC Willys with the Olds engine. Been waiting for that one for a while now. Maybe I could kitbash this one with the Hemi SWC Willys to build the original restored car. I'm really excited for this one, especially since it's a Del Rio. Can't wait to see this one hit the shelves!
