  5. Right, that’s it!! I’m dumping all my modelling tools & stuff in the trash…..I’m go’na take up knitting from now on. Just kiddin . Romell I’ve been tagging along with you on this & you other build’s. Man you’re a craftsman & no mistake. Inspiring, stimulating, motivating & sometimes bewildering, but always immaculately turned out models. All the good stuff has been said about this build so I’ll just sit here in awl & keep watching & learning. Keep on truckin. Davey,

405 hp….cripes a`mighty my big `ol Case was only 250hp. A great model of a wonderful bellowing beast. lovely build from a time when race cars needed drivers not I.T programmers. Davey who knows nothing about I.T.
  19. I’m retired now so for the most part I’m able to do as I please….until the Wife says otherwise. Quite strange at first but now I can model anytime I like….until the Wife says otherwise…..sounds familiar. I have to admit after spending my entire working life in Agriculture retirement seamed a bit daunting. I enjoyed the long hours in the tractor cab ploughing, cultivating, drilling etc. At busy times I’d be driving all night, seeing wildlife that I wouldn’t normally see during the day. Warm starry nights bring moths to the driving lamps & Badgers would often follow the plough looking for worms & grubs to eat. When its time for breakfast I’d make the last passes & bring that big `ol Case out`a work for the last time, head for home & the prospect of a hearty meal. Pulling into the yard I’d shut her down & climb form the cab & be instantly reminded of my connection with the land. The smell of freshly turned soil stuck to the polished plough shear & the unmistakeable aroma of a hot diesel….its a ploughman thing. Retirement holds no fear now for I get the same feeling from modelling that I did from driving; only there’s no pressure. I’m thinking of getting a CB for the shed as most of the ploughmen in my area use them; especially at night for a bit of company. Call it payback for the ribbing I used to take from the young bucks who are now putting in 20 hour shifts while I’m snug & cosy building models in my shed. When the time suites I think I’ll try a modelling all nighter, it sounds fun. Be safe. Davey.
  20. Well tug me beard & call me Tracy, I didn’t know there was a kit of that car. Just don’t tell my Daughter, she has a thing for Michael J Fox & she’ll want me to build a Delorean for her. It’s a lovely build & like everyone else I’d like to know how you did the Ally body finish. Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean? Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
