  1. Yeah, Jesse seems to like a weird riding position for his own bikes.
  2. I took the plunge. I ordered a pair of turbos for a motorcycle project. I got left and right handed. The site says they are not technically correct, but the June 2009 Hot Rod magazine had a cover photo of an engine with mirror-image turbos. It's correct enough for me.
  3. I also have spares if you need any.
  4. I was really surprised when my 64 year old mom told me she voted Her vote was for Jesse James, BTW.
  5. Yeah I'm not wild about all the profanity and I don't really care about his personal life either. The man can build nice bikes, though. I love that curved down tube with holes through it. A much better style element than exhaust stacks in a fuel tank.
  6. Yeah, I know. It's like a soap opera gone haywire, but I do like the old buildoff shows. My vote goes to Jesse James. Like he said- he built a bike that could be ridden. Paul Jr's bike looks wildly impractical; more like an art piece that sits on a shelf. I also think that theme bikes are just silly. Paul Sr's "vehicle" is even more impractical.
  7. Yeah. This board at Aircraft Resource Center http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showforum=202
  8. Yeah I think Moebius is doing great things for the hobby, but I have no interest in a Lone Star big rig or a Hudson Hornet. The upcoming Chrysler 300, on the other hand...I'll get several of those.
  9. Yeah. That looks nice. Where did you get it?
  10. No. We are not obligated to buy a case of Jolly Rodgers or any other silly model just because they issue a bunch of them. There's a reason why Parts Packs have never made a big comeback. It's because limited edition Parts Packs have also been flops.
  11. Get an account with a photo hosting site. I like Fotki, but plenty of people use Photobucket.
  12. A couple of builtups off eBay. Tamiya's 1/6 scale Suzuki GSX1100S Katana and Kawasaki Z 1300 with inline-6 engine.
  13. Have a mold remediation company come out and take a look. Around here, they'll give you an evaluation for free, and they typically work with homeowner's insurance, so if they do need to do some work, the insurance company pays.
  14. looking for some FAT 1/12 tires with tread.
  15. They're molded to the body.

    X Sonic

It was a show car in the 1950s and '60s. http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=X-Sonic
  17. Rat rods are not welcome at the link I provided.
  18. Check out post #53. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=354057&showall=1 It looks like one is a single-carb manifold with an adapter to have the Latham blow into it. Not sure about the other. Register and ask your question. Friendly folks there. Just don't bring up anything made after 1964. Or EFI. And WHATEVER YOU DO...don't bring up rat rods.
  19. They were used, from furnaces that our guys removed. Free for the taking. No offense, though. I'm sure you were joking.
  20. FYI- Tamiya's pearl clear has a tiny bit of blue in it. Nothing wrong with that, just something to be aware of.
  21. No experience with them. I read an article in an IPMS Journal about making a booth with a squirrel-cage fan from a furnace. You might be able to get a used one of those for free from an HVAC shop. If you lived closer, I'd give you one for free. I picked up a pair of them at work.
  22. Looks like "Unique Replicas" http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-MUSTANG-BOSS-429-ENGINE-1-24-UNIQUE-REPLICAS-/400191866470?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item5d2d4b4666
  23. Not me. Really interesting photo shot recently in Libya. Lots of debate on whether or not that guitar was photoshopped into his hands, but this image and two others appear on the Getty Images website.
  24. When they answer the phone, they say "Tah MEE yah"
  25. OR JUST GO TO PSAB. http://client.sigmachat.com/sc.php?id=12510
