  1. The 'cuda will go on a custom pro/street chassis. I have no idea about the Cobra. I don't have the Jag engine. edited out the rest. I'm really bummed out about not having a 'cuda yet.
  2. As a Barracuda "investor", seeing the site offline makes me nervous.
  3. Wow. I like those working windows. Aric- How much for a pair of .250" gears for working windows?
  4. Try a light bulb filament, if it's the right size. Put a wire inside to get it to hold the shape you want, then brush on diluted white glue.
  5. I've heard rumors of a 1/72 Skipjack submarine; about 42 inches long. Possibly boring for car modelers, but remove the bumps, scrounge up some wheels and a drivetrain...
  6. I believe someone did a how-to on that in an issue of Car Modeler. I think it was one of the later "Annual" issues after Kalmbach took over.
  7. Yeah I picked up the current Motor Trend "Classics", and just for that article. What a cool show car.
  8. Good grief. Can anybody say anything on this site without making someone cry? Evilone- chop away. I have one of those that had a cracked roof, so I gave it a slant chop.
  9. Must have been the degaussing.
  10. You left the "http://" from Photobucket in there.
  11. $199. A few pieces put together on the monocoque. Everything else still sealed in bags, including decals.
  12. If you only knew what I paid. It had a Buy It Now price that makes me believe the seller didn't know what he had.
  13. Another vote for Easy Off. I used it to remove woodgrain stickers from an AMT Lincoln Continental.
  14. A job! I've been out of work for 4 months. I treated myself; I ordered a 1/8 scale fiberglass belly tank (tank only). I'll raid a Big Deuce for its flathead drivetrain and Moon discs.
  15. The only one I know of is AMT's old "Dragray" Corvette funny car. I sent you a PM with a link to one.
  16. You read the entire thread and never realized it was not going to turn to model cars? Wow.
  17. It has already happened. A guy in Australia sells copies on ebay for $85. I believe that was in the article. I went to ebay and he had one listed just a couple of weeks ago.
  18. The only things I can recommend are to give the fins a rear profile similar to the skirts and to scribe a trunk into it.
  19. I think it looks pretty cool as is.
  20. Get a 417 Donovan. They're available with a water jacket.
  21. I think it will be a combination of many different power sources; solar, wind, poo, etc. Nuclear could gain favor as fossil fuel prices go up.
  22. Anyone familiar with a '29 Ford closed-cab pickup may know. Depends on how much attention they pay to detail. Really it's a pretty minor thing, but I sure was annoyed when I realized it.
  23. That's the worst! I'm putting some detail on an old pickup model. I was going off a few pics in old magazines. I found a build thread with lots of pics on a real car site and found out I did some things wrong. ARGH! I think I'll just keep going and save that info for another, more accurate build. I want to finish this thing. I'll live with a couple of incorrect details, knowing that the next one will be better.
  24. Link does not work
