  1. This kit is being re-released very soon and I was wondering if anyone has built the original and has pictures of it? Whoever has the new version is more than welcome to chime in and share pictures/information regarding the kit. Thanks. Here is the link: http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/1962-corvette
  2. Thank you for those pictures Brett. I just ordered 2 off eBay. On a side note, does engine from Revell 50 Olds fit inside a Revell 32 easily or is there some modifications required? Obviously a modeler can make it fit without any problems, but I'm just wondering if it has same length and width as the hemi/302/SBC/flathead that come with these kits so it can just slide inside?
  3. Any pictures of what's inside the box?
  4. I also do not like the idea of a Chevy engine inside a Ford, but it's still a lot better than the 302 from the other kits. Maybe I just don't like Ford engines besides the flathead, 429 Boss, and the 427 SOHC in any cars other than what they were born in. As for the front axle, I am very disappointed. Maybe they will correct this in the future releases along with the traditional frame. Still getting 2 or 3 of these kits, hopefully.
  5. Those are only not sold to Canada. So sad (for me).
  6. Does this kit come with chrome reversed steelies?
  7. Whoa that is absolutely stunning.
  8. We are half way through the month. Can't believe this kit is coming out soon.
  9. Well, I do not care for the model being 100% authentic. It's that my lincoln kit is missing a few parts and I thought I would make it into something that looks stock, maybe with some custom touches. Cougar kit has some parts I could use for other models so I wouldn't care about cutting the 2 kits to build the stock looking Lincoln. I guess all I care about is will the Cougar interior and chassis fit without too many modifications?
  10. Sorry for resurrecting such an old topic, but would a Revell 92 Cougar chassis work instead of the tbird chassis for this conversion?
  11. Nice. I like the concept. Do you have any pictures of the underside/buttom of the car?
  12. Thanks. I appreciate all your help.
  13. Hello world. I would once again like to hear your opinion on a particular kit. Whenever I ask for a review I get a ton of great comments from you guys and gals so thank you all. Anyways, I'm wondering how is the AMT 62 Catalina 2 in 1 kit? Does it have all the custom parts from the Catalina custom kit? I know AMT has reissued 57 Chevy and left out a bunch of custom parts, did they pull the same thing here too? Thanks. Here is the pic of the kit I'm referring to:
  14. I could live with the chassis being low in detail. Does this kit come with the same custom parts as well?
  15. Whoa, the extended front end and the chop look very interesting. It's a shame the new kits don't have those options. Thanks for those instruction pictures.
  16. Thanks guys. Appreciate your insight.
  17. The suspense is killing me. I don't think I can wait much longer to see what the parts of this kit look like. I have a feeling this will be my favorite kit of all time. On a side note, I would absolutely love it if Revell decided tool up an all new chassis (rails with removable floor) and create something like a 3 in 1 kit of the 32 Ford: all stock, 50s period hot rod with quickchange rear end, and something like a 60s period street rod. That would appeal to a very wide variety of hot rod enthusiasts. With Revell tooling up all new parts like the firewall and those amazing rims/tires, I think the chassis would be the next logical step.
  18. I recently ordered this kit and was wondering if anyone has experience building it. Any relevant information is welcome. I see it's a 3 in 1 kit. Would anyone happen to have pictures of these built with different options. What custom options does it come with? Thanks. (picture is not mine)
  19. Model Round Up has some detailed pics. http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/rmx-4995.htm
  20. Does anyone know if there are instructions posted online?
  21. It's up on Revell's site. http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-4995.html I wonder if anyone has actual pictures of the model or parts.
  22. Sorry to hijack the thread, but is Tamiya AS series same type of paint as their TS series? I think TS is spray enamel, is the AS the same? Thanks.
  23. Welcome to the forum, Steve! Enjoy your stay here.
  24. If he is into hot rods you can get him the revell snap 34 Ford.
