  1. That surprisingly looks very nice. I was skeptic when I read the "ratrod" part in the title, but turned out very well.
  2. On the Rat Roaster, are those rear fenders molded into the body, chassis or neither? Would be nice if they were just optional parts that could be used on any of the other Revell 32 Fords.
  3. I really hope the 49 Merc will come with a separate, all stock coupe body... As much as I like woodies for being something different, I cannot see myself painting all that wood and making it look realistic.
  4. I can't help you with the article, wouldn't it be easier just getting the Revell 40 Ford Convertible kit?
  5. Does the Merc woody come with a stock body?
  6. What's the difference between this kit and the Ford T-Bucket Amigo Pack kit?
  7. Oh lord that looks so beautiful I want to cry.
  8. This may sound like a stupid question, but is the chassis of this kit interchangeable with the Revell's 37 Ford Coupe?
  9. I agree. I would like to see chopped coupe and sedan, but with 40s/50s period correct parts (engines, chassis, suspensions, axles, etc). I would very much like an option to build them as stock cars or period correct hot rods. Most of the Revell 32 Ford kits now have modern street rod engines and suspensions, which I am personally not a fan of since I like traditional hot rods.
  10. Glad to hear that all parts are the same. Thanks guys.
  11. Nice model William. That particular model is actually one of the reasons I wanted to build the tub. I love the way it came out.
  12. I saw that, but didn't see Big Tub there. Does Big T and Big Tub have same chassis and engine? Is the only difference between them the body shell?
  13. Thanks for the feedback. I just searched through all pages in Big Boyz section and couldn't find any pictures of Big Tubs. As for de-chroming, I guess it's a good thing I am not a fan of chrome If anyone can, please post some pictures. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.
  14. Hello fellow Model Car Magazine members. I decided it's about time I build one of the legendary Revell/Monogram "Big" kits, so I would like to ask you fellow MCM members for a review or any information regarding these kits. Right now I can only locate a Big Tub at a reasonable price so I am primarily looking for a review of this kit. Hopefully Revell will re-release the other 2 "Big" kits so feel free to give your input on either of these 3 kits. Thanks.
  15. I love the details, wood trim, engine choice, and the color. Absolutely beautiful.
  16. Is it possible Revell will put out Big T or Big Deuce anytime in the near future?
  17. Maybe Revell should put out some sort of special edition with multiple chassis, bodies, engines, and a whole bunch of extra parts.
  18. It's a tough question. I like 5 window because it has a nice hemi and proper hairpin wishbone suspension stabilizer. I like Roadster and 3 Window because of the body. I like the tudor (by the way it is NOT spelled twodor) because I really like the flathead and the body. Even though I like all of them and have multiples of each, my fav got to be the tudor, though each and every one of them has their benefits/advantages.
  19. Looks beautiful. Can't wait to get mine.
  20. Still no word on Rat Roaster?
  21. Thanks guys! Ordered this kit couple days ago, can't wait until it comes through!
  22. Hello there. I would like to know the differences between the different AMT 39/40 Ford tudor kits. These are the kits I'm referring to: I know the one with red model on the box comes with cragar rims and some racing parts. How about the other 2? Also, is the chassis with fenders and 39 lights/grill interchangeable with AMT's 40 Ford coupe? I'd love to build a 39 Coupe since it's my favorite Ford ever. Thanks
  23. Yes, 36 3 Window Coupe would definitely be much appreciated in a tin edition with extra grills and tops and so on. Also a 39/40 Coupe with cragar and steelie rims so basically like the tudor version, but coupe.
  24. Very nice model, but I would just like to point out that it's a tudor sedan, not vicky.
