spent last night adding extra parts.reworked the drive line and mocking up the motor, that's on hold till the radiator gets here. Now what can I do. were is the mailman.

Yep it is orange and painted black( was). it was a box full of parts,I've fixed or replacing. It was for a parts box but I started playing with it well here we are.

I am guessing your talking about the AMT trailers. For a 60's,70's look find the older trailer kits Like the one with the ieglue,iggelue(rats SP)hose made of snow and ice with the frozen man (watkins i believe)that would be good. You may be rite there was one more. can't remember to much.one of the units had a over hang about 45* the other did not. For the other it looked just like a box no over hang, maybe 4 doors/barn-doors (maybe). I'm having to go by memory here. your making me think about things I haven't seen in all most 30 years. we got a few yard around here and i look and see. let me look in my box and see what i have. I got some trailer parts a few months a go and one of these units was in there. were to get them don't know.you may have to run some photos down and make your own. For the 85,86,89 too 95,98 look try the Italeri 48'reefer. http://sourkrautsmod...id=3&category=4 these are for 90's 95 to date. hope this helps

how about this,I'm working on a new idea.I dropped a Revell KW so I am trying to use the cleaners from it.I let you know in a day or two.Also trying to use the V8 cat too. The Revell has been boxed up 3 or 4 times and not too happy with it,,so just part it out. you just wont a peek don't you:)

use Super Clean all the time, works great. IF the paint is fresh like that it should not take long if the glue is fresh it should be OK as well. In fact I just took a cab out of the cleaner(oven cleaner) it had been in there a year now and the glue is OK.then soaked in the Super clean for the last 10 days,the glue is still holding out. Some times if the kits are lets say 10 years old some time the glue will break down. Try Dupli Color Auto paint.I been using that about 5 years now and like it.

Nah,try Boston one time,all we had was a 70" sleeper should have seen the looks we got.

Now here is a peek at the up coming road Road Boss.The cab/frame on the right is what they both looked like after cleaning the old paint off and filling in the holes.

I use Auto border line tape,(have too look it up).it's OK too use unless your making hard/sharp corners like on the hood it wont's too roll up and it has a little bit of memory too. I'm getting were I can use it with out it giving me a fit.

Hey Mark I have seen a few of the big sleeper like that, that do have pusher axle to help carry the weight of the sleeper.

Sharp!! are you the same guy that built a blue and what Ford about 4 years a go. it was on the Largecar mag model page??? I was just looking on the AITM at the Mercury 60 Inch if it is a solid casting not much you could do with it,if it comes like a parts kit maybe you cold work with it. Now if you can't work with resin hold out till Nov/DEC AMT will be repoping the road boss and maybe the kits will have the sleepers.

i would go with the AITM sleeper. I feel like trying to build one like you need will be a day at the bench.
