  1. spent the summer re-repainting this for winter,as you can see still lone way to go on the cab. of all the luck I chipped off one corner as I was painting maybe I can blend it in same for the roof,did not for get it(it was in the purple cleaner) when it comes to painting I kinda get in a rush, kinda rushing too beat the weather now.
  2. I got one of the older ones If I remember rite is has a DD. I sure tim can tell you more.
  3. too start with if you have a 5th wheel scan it,then down size the photo too the size you need then transfer it to sheet stock. if you have a lot close by that sales the 5th wheel campers run by there and see what they have,tell the guy what your doing and see if he will OK taking photos. I found out the hard way it's best too ask first. My link try that link out.
  4. I'm in, I got one that keeps running through my head and can't get rid of it.well 3 that is. Just about done with the ones on the bench(4 there) now maybe by Nov will have it all cleared off.
  5. Hummm, we build our own kit the way we won't with in reason but there is a set time, start on this day be done by this date.
  6. For me I find it less trouble too build around the floor(using the floor as a jig),use 2 or 3 tiny drops of glue on the floor then on the cab wall's run a full bead on the inside of cab.When the glue sets up using a xacto blade brake the bound from the floor and wall's and move on. Now thats the way I do it I maybe going the long way but it works for me. if you need idea's here is a good site.hanks truck site
  7. Are you talking about one kit being passed around from member too member and each one does a little bit work??
  8. Can't he start with the Revell KW kit and replace the air ride with the resin torsion bar,that would be good start???
  9. I did, try using a 2 part glue and sand were the glue is going. I'm using a contact glue and having a time,next trip around town have too pick some up.
  10. I spent all weekend working on new masters for the 1/24 fenders( think you will like them ) now it's raining,so don't know how long it is going to be til I get too paint the cleaners/intake.

  12. Looking fore some info please. I'm fixing too send the fender's off to P&P resin fore casting. here is the in put I need. when the fenders are in place there a tad short of being long enough too being even with the center of the hub's is this OK or do they need to longer other words do I need too start all over and make a new set or leave as is?? I was giving them one last look over before I walked out the door.
  13. if the new kits are chrome how does one go about gluing the two half's to together with out messing up the chrome???

  18. Yeah, those AMT kits are way out of shape. I had one were one rail was longer than the other,did not see that until I placed the hood and cab.
