  1. Very sharp looking KW Kerry. I liked your video showing your truck and how you explained the building.
  2. Awesome build Alex! Are you going to build a trailer for it to tow?
  3. Roger awesome progress on your project! You’re taking on 3 major truck builds at the same time and it’s your first time to extend a frame plus modify a cab you should be proud of what have done so far. You have all of them looking good. Looking forward to seeing more progress.
  4. Thanks Carl. I have to finish the handheld remote compartment and then I’m ready for the silver paint.
  5. Yea there’s one link in the tracks left out and a rod to slide in to close up the tracks. The tracks are the correct length. You are right they have added more items for the D8. They even have a rev.2 version for the tracks and a reduced price for the rev. 1 ones I bought.
  6. Nice progress Alex your making this into a very sharp looking hauler.
  7. Kevin what you see in my picture is how I removed them from the shipping box. They are shorter in length than the AMT kit tracks. I have to check and see if they are going to work.
  8. My parts from PapyHobby finally arrived today ?. I’ll be back working on the dozer as soon as I’m finished with the bottom dump trailer.
  9. I was able to finish up the load tarp and some painting. The white unpainted area is going to be silver. I still have the gate controller box to make and run some air lines.
  10. Nice progress Warren. I would of done the same with the radiator screen. I received my dozer aftermarket parts today I’m shocked they were in NY yesterday.
  11. Thanks Brian I still have a little bit more to engineer on it. More progress on the retractable tarp.
  12. Wow that’s a long cab! Your sleeper looks good nice and smooth. You know that Hobby Lobby sells the Evergreen plan sheets of Polystyrene plastic in a couple different thicknesses. It might of been a little easier for filling up the gap on your sleeper.
  13. Warren I’m glad to see you starting your dozer. My remaining aftermarket parts are arriving next Tuesday so I can finish mine. I’ll take lots of pictures on how I do my grill and post them for you.
  14. Looking good Tommy your getting closer to finishing this awesome build.
  15. Thanks Patrick actually there’s no gears needed there’s just a rod that connects them together. The trick is to figure out where to connect the rod to make both half’s to open up the same. Mine are close lol. Thanks Kerry.
  16. Today I worked on the landing legs and little more work on the fenders also cut out the side boards on top. I’ve painted some cheese cloth to use as removable cover over the load area. I’m thinking I might have a way to make it open and close to. That’s tomorrow’s project lol.
  17. Wow Tom everything you have done so far looks just like it does it that brochure picture. Looking forward to seeing your next progress updates.
  18. Thanks Bill Thanks Jeff. I should do that so far I’ve just been looking at them as I’m driving by. I did see a Load King trailer just like the one I’ve been working from for reference.
  19. More details on the bottom assembly with the pneumatic cylinders. I’m getting closer to being ready for some paint.
  20. Nice progress Alex I like your color blue.
  21. I’ve been tackling the hardest part of this build and it’s the operating bottom gates. I’ve been able too get both gates to open and close at the same time. I still have some clean up to do and I’m going to add the air pneumatic cylinders on both ends for operating the gates. Your comments are always welcome and appreciated.
