Although I'm pleased to see some new life from Revell, like the '49 Merc and upcoming '32 sedan (new or modified reissue)tools. My Merc kit had horrible sink marks on the frame, and in places where it was impossible to fill and sand without losing details.I eventually just sanded off the little molded on bits that simulate body/frame mounts. In checking some other kits that are similar in style,(separateframe)they are suffering the same fate.Has this become the norm or is this rare.Several years ago I can remember where the big problem was the quality of the bodies. This seems to be addressed for I can barely find a mold seam on the Merc or the '48 Ford woodie kit .
