  1. Nice ride!
  2. Same here!
  3. It has adjustable hole settings thus you can slide the chassis to fit the wheel bace you want to use. These a things are great!
  4. Glad to see your back at it and hope your time away was enjoyable.
  5. LOL That made my day!
  6. Looks good man!
  7. Another suggestion is when possible to mask around an area thus providing a straight line(s). Paint pens and Sharpies work well too. Good luck! Regarding the images all you have to you is copy your Image code off of Photobucket (assuming youve uploaded) and paste it on to the page where youre posting. Ive found no need to use the insert photo link. Just look to see if when youve pasted the code it begins and ends with the "". It took me a few times to get it myself. PM me if you need help.
  8. The car I’m working on has a Herringbone type design on the seats and door panels. The kit provided decals, however it looked nothing like the original style and, well… it’s a decal. That said, it occurred to me when I noticed some wire mesh on the workbench that I could possibly mask off, then cut and shape some pieces over the areas where I wanted the Herringbone or something similar anyway, to be. Once that was completed I just misted some flat and gloss over it and that was that. Overall it looks good and even better at arms length Ha! I feel it created the illusion I wanted and I look forward to doing some more of this technique in the near future.
  9. Here’s the chrome painted with Testors Gloss Black, that I painted last night. The Testors Transparent Black was hard to come by, spent my lunch today tracking a can down. I'll let you all know how it turns out and what I decide to go with.
  10. Thank you for the heads up on the transparent black, I'll look for it!!
  11. The water even looks cold! Great Job!!
  12. Why is it that I’m getting the munchies just looking at this van? Kidding aside, I’ll be following your build!
  13. For Real!!
  14. Can I paint over chrome pieces (specifically the side moldings on a ’60 Impala) without any adverse effect, to achieve a “black gloss chrome look Or would a Sharpie do the trick?
  15. Is this the new kit that's out?
  16. Looks good to my eyes!
  17. Excellent, I’ll be watching this build!! I’ve been looking for late model trucks,well... '70's - today, doesn’t seem to be many around. I see your in Memphis, if you run across any please PM and give me heads up.
