Here’s part of my latest project. I’m not pleased with the pictures, but I wanted to throw them out anyway and share what I’m working on. I’ve had my eye on the Revell ’60 Impala for some time but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it. Once I decided to try and mix a flat and gloss black paint scheme I was off and running, unfortunately my skill set didn’t match my mind set.
I say “part of my latest project†because I’m working one two Impalas. I’ve always enjoyed before and after pictures so the premise is a restoration diorama. I’ll keep you all posted. Thanks for looking and reading.
I just picked up the same kit last Friday, haven’t opened it and, well, after seeing yours I may not. Like everyone else, I’m drooling over your color choice! Looks good, I’ll be following the build!
I’ve seen this tool, pictured on many workbenches and thought “my X-Acto works just fineâ€. That was until I picked up a Nipper Tool. I cant believe I’ve gone this long without one. If you’re like me do yourself a favor and get one today.
I’m working on a 1960 Impala by Revell and more often than not my kits with the opening hoods and trunks are a bust. Those pesky hinges never seem to line up properly and/or doesn’t allow for proper opening and closing. Any suggestions?
Let me first say that I am very fond and proud of my local owned hobby shop (Mid South Hobbies) as well as Hobby Town, but you can’s beat these coupons.
