It was one of those magic moments when it just hits, and you have a clear vision - While I was looking for something different for my seats I stumbled across some sort of shop towel that my wife had picked up at the grocery. From a template I had made, I was able to get the paper towel down to size and determine where the cut and fold lines would be. I used the 3M brand of spray adhesive and covered the original bench seat- front, sides and back and added the upholstery. Once it was in place I dusted it with the color(s) I wanted and then with a Dull Coat. One thing to note is I masked of the bottom /underneath part of the seat and removed it prior to applying the “upholsteryâ€, this gave me a small area to hang on to so the tacky residue wouldn’t get on my finger tips thus end up on the material.
