  1. Thanks for the honesty. Sounds like I am ok with ordering then!
  2. I am interested in some of the Promolite products but am in the dark how to contact them. Also, what kind of experiences have you folks had with them? They have a really eccentric line of bodies, alot of them Post Sedans, that looks good in pics but I only have seen them online. THANKS!
  3. MV Lenses are a lense that comes in multiple sizes originally used in scale trains. They can be used in model cars to replicate headlights and tail lights (They also come in red)
  4. Studebaker Daytona? I hope that ain't a joke! I would love one of those! Definately unique to the market! If you build it ......they will come
  5. I have been using the MV Lenses for a long time on custom builds. I have depleted my stock though and have, since I bought last time, lost my supplier. Where is a good place to get them that will actually have them in stock? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP! BH

  8. Built from a resin 33 Ford Salt Flats car. Totally reshaped all the windows and the nose. Everything else is scratchbuilt
  9. The shock mounts come through the body work very simply on these cars. They were a simple little shiny shock stud in most cases. It makes the 90 degree bend bend the shock eyes.
  10. Made from a Competition Resins Body. Painted PPG Light Pewter BC/CC. Its on a WRP Chassis with a Pro Slot motor.
  11. This is a Flashpoint Motorsports body on a WRP Chassis with a Top Gun Motor. Color is Hugger Orange with PPG Clear. The grille is hand painted.

  13. Cool piece! I love that kit! Yours sits REALLY nice!
  14. I am loving this car! Darin Bastedo had told me about these bodies...man I would love to get ahold of one!
  15. This fireman thinks its cool!
  16. Thanks Danno, I finished rubbing ti out last night and added some final blue striping in a little different shade on top of the clear to add some depth and life to the flames...it changed it dramatically for the better and it has a more Sport Truck style flame look to it now.
  17. One slick piece! It nails the feel of the cars from that era! Scallops would make anything cool when executed that smoothly! Great job!
  18. Thanks Danno for your compliments on this and the other thread!
  19. Thanks for the compliments. I build real cars too and my father and I rebuilt his Yellow Houndstooth car so reference material was pretty handy.
  20. This is a 1969 Camaro SS 396 with the Aluminum head (L78) 396 option and Yellow Houndstooth interior. It was made from the RM Z28 and SS Convertible kits. It has FULL paint fading and inspection markings per the Camaro Restoration Guide and has had the trunk opened as well as the grille. The Color is PPG Daytona Yellow and the Interior is actual CARS Inc. Yellow made for restoring these 1:1 cars, with Scale Motorsport upholstery patterns. It has scaled down trunk paint and side marker details in the trunk along with jack and instructions. It has a MCG Photoetch set also. This one has also been done for a few years just wanted to post some stuff sine I am new here. Thanks for looking!
  21. This is a model of a 1933 Speedstar Coupe. These bodies were made famous by Alloway's Rod Shop and produced by Rat's Glass here in East TN. I used a Resin 33 Ford salt flat car to build it. It uses an Aluminum drop beam front end, has aluminum coil overs all the way around and is painted with House of Kolor paint. The flames are painted on and cleared over. Its been done a few years but I just signed on here and wanted ot share a few builds.
  22. This is made from a Johan kit. It is a curbide model. It has several subtle body mods and Pegasus wheels.
