  1. Got the clear on and polished out. Most of the interior is in place and scratchbuilt "bullet" tailights are in place as well.
  2. This is a cool project. I am planning on one of the 63 Biscaynes for a future project. Yours will be very nice looks like!
  3. That's a good clean looking job!
  4. Here are some pics of the grille I made for the coupe. It is made of Aluminum mesh. It was tricky getting the horizontal and vertical bows in it without developing a kink.
  5. Had a little progress this week....I polished out the paint and got started on detailing the interior. Here are some pics....
  6. Had a mishap with the clearcoat and had to repaint the car. I scuffed the basecoat, then put one more coat of the base. The car has been cleared now but not buffed. Interior is finished and all the car need now is polished and bare metal foiled. Also I had a change of wheel type. It will be getting the wheels shown in these pics.
  7. I would love to see the Lark Hardtop, 60/61 Oldsmobiles, F85 Coupe and Wagon, Buick Special Wagon.
  8. Thanks for all the compliments guys. I also got some color on the interior pieces today and flocking on the floor but haven't gotten any pics of that yet.
  9. Got the black rubbed out and the flames applied today.....
  10. That Falcon is awesome!
  11. Thanks all for the comments. The car is a curbside originally and it had such a straight body I hated to cut the hood and risk a mishap. I like having a couple of curbsides to show each year so this will be one of mine. The garage diorama is a cheap kit from walmart about five years ago. All I did was put it together for a pic backdrop. I only added the checkered floor.
  12. Thanks Bernard. Its a Flintstone body also but its the tracknosed version. Since Alloway's used the Speedstar cabin area for the tracknosed coupe as well as the regular Speedstar, it made it very convenient that FLintstone had a tracknosed verison also. The front wheels are the 32 Roadster wheels in the RM kit and the rear are Pegasus Hellas in a hoop I had machined by MAS to mate them with the tires from the Escalade kit. I wanted a taller skinnier tire to help pull off the lakes look a little better. There is no chassis. Its a curbside with full interior detail and alot of aluminum on the exposed suspension parts.
  13. This is a 59 Buick I bought at the Foothills Plastic Pros Show a few weeks ago. Its going to be a mild cruiser with an AirRide stance and big wheels. The color is PPG 1986 GM Dark Shadows Blue.
  14. Got color on this one also this week. Its not been polished yet. After cure, it gets painted flames, and red interior.
  15. Got color on this one this week. It isn't polished yet, still needs a little cure time. Its MCW 36 Ford Washington Blue.
  16. Had an offer for that the day I painted it. I hate to be down for a while though since I intend to take this one to Atlanta in November. I have one more Post coming though and already have an agreement on a mold for it.
  17. It got color today! Artesian Turquoise inside and out with two additional shades of green inside....
  18. They did it was just so rare to see a stripped down Olds that most have never seen one. Buick did the same in 61.
  19. Lets try this again.....
  20. This is a conversion from an old Johan 4 door hardtop. Its not dead on but its got the look I wanted it to have. Color is to be Artesian Turquoise inside and out.
  21. Can't take credit for the tag and tailight recesses they were factory made.
  22. Yeah no problem Cranky......
  23. This is a build meant to look like taking a current Speedstar Body and going retro with Muroc Drylakes styling cues. It is going to be Ford Washington Blue and has bomber seats and aluminum trim inside. It has machined trailing arms, brake drums to look like a modern slicked down billet verision of Buick drums, aluminum dropped axle with coil overs on all four corners, and may or may not use the front bumper pictured.
  24. This is a 32 Ford Vicky I have been working on. It uses the Phantom Vicky kit but with alot of mods. There is no part unchanged so far. I Pinched and channeled the front of the body leaving the body channeled on a rake. The interior panels have all been modified accordingly. The top is laid over a frame that I made. the color is to either be Black with a black top and red interior or Red with bone top and interior. Either color will get a set of painted "Ohio Flames". The front axle will be notched into the lower front corners of the hood sides not as displayed in the pics.
  25. I know Good Stuff made one and maybe another company as well. I saw one on Ebay the other day but forgot to bid on it. Help!
