looking good, although a pro-street chassis might kick things up a notch.

Imai make one, but it's 1/35 scale. it's nicknamed the Tumbler, which will make finding it easier. Mobius make a 1/24 'batpod', so hopefully they'll also do a tumbler as well.

Yes, it's on my Bench now. i might rebuild the Futura as a hot rod or something I actually made copies of the Clooney batman figure for each of the other batmobiles.

This is the revell 48 ford convertable kit. i've recessed the rear license plate and removed the front bumper (including valance). decals are actually Bare Metal Foil which was a painful exercise to apply. i finally got around to doing the red pinstriping by hand. i also did a before version (i call 'greasy lightning'). it suffered damage from a leaking can of paint stripper, which melted the body into two halves. doors had to be replaced so i made new ones with aluminium. rust and dirt is painted weathering to finish it off.

can't believe i forgot this turkey. revell impala, thunderbird rims. home flame job. pity it's not a four door, but close 'nuff.

i took some new photos of my old models. 66 batmobile (west), made from the 55 futura kit (can't wait for the new 1/25 kit). 89 Batmobile (burton) 95 Batmobile (Kilmenow) - wierdly this is my favourite version 97 batmobile (Clooney)

These are all vehicles from T3: Rise of the Machines -2003 (this is the one with the female terminator) Cadillac Hearse. This is a lowrider caddy kit that i modded from a revell sedan to a hearse. Kate's Pickup. I couldn't get a Toyota Tundra, so i used a hilux instead. it was also a dual cab, so i chopped it up to make it a single cab. I did the artwork and Pattos Place printed them up. Terminatrix's Lexus This is a welly diecast in 1/25, i pulled it apart and repainted the interior black and made a Terminatrix figure for it. still to do arnie's pickup, but that's another day.

This is my Mustang "Red Mist" from the movie Kickass. I'ts made from Revell's 06 Mustang Kit with custom bodykit, aftermarket wheels and home made decals. hood scoop from thepartsbox.

Help with correct model from a movie
kruleworld replied to Drago's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
drago, need to know what car is in a movie, first stop should be http://www.imcdb.org/ as many movies and cars listed there. and here it is http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_69210-Chevrolet-Impala-1961.html -
one sweet race car
-
nice boss. is it painted yellow or glossed up styrene? either way it's a nice clean build. now go finish those other ones.
-
never seen a trident in the show, perhaps you mean the P50? either way, it's not in one of the challenges. for those who like the Hammerhead Eco car, here's a pic of the interior lots more here

Nice looking Roller. interesting paint scheme. i admit, that distracted me too (hint for next time, no other visible models, Hehe).

the s2000 is a tamiya roaster kit. see here to see how i build the bodykit http://www.thepartsb...hp?f=251&t=1899 kingtoy, i bought a R34, but i got the wrong one (one has a similar bodykit, i got a different one that's radically different). Imports aren't really my 'thing', more of a muscle car fan, but my primary subjects are TV & movie cars, so that's my excuse for building them. The Mitsubishi EVo is the Fujimi kit, with just the decals and wing from the AMT kit. it's a lot more fun to get a stock vehicle and mod it to the movie version, rather than using the AMT kit (assuming they were correct, most are not).
-
a supreme build. quite nice detail. that's a cute diorama you parked it top photos.
-
correct, but it's correct.... fyi, the black charger is actually a revell 68 charger, with a front from modelhaus and supercharger from thepartsbox. the amt one was too disappointing.

sadly there is no model of the 63 opel kadett, except in small scales (ie 1:43 or less). i'd want 1/25. i saw a 1/25 scale Citroen CX the other day (Hmm, jeremy's 'tall van'?)
-
wow, that's slick. my type of lowrider.
-
tarentino archive just says it's a chevy silverado. Most diecast models have it as a later model (2003-2006)
-
uh, depends on finding a hilux in 1/25 scale....

when i saw this vehicle at Delegate, NSW, i new i'd have to model it one day. it's a workhorse for a small garage in the main street, still doing vehicle pickups after however many decades it's been a towtruck. it's got a 25 years of Tow truck rego sticker on the LHS window. The truck is an International C1300 with both NRMA AND RACV (motoring association) livery, because Delegate is only 20 mins from the Victorian border, he has both state's associations. the model was based on the Midnight Cowboy wrecker from revell. basically the entire front forward of the windscreen is scratchbuilt, with the wrecker kit providing chassis, cab and tray. The decals are home-made. i presented the model to the owner, much to his surprise.

The most glaring issue with the model (first pic) is the wheel trim. either a problem with the bare metal foil or the edge of the wheel arch, but it looks heavy and out of scale and the folds on the inside make it look 'lumpy'. the script on the front fender is hard to do at scale. also the angle, while photo is well composed, it just doesn't sit right with the viewer (pointed out by Scale Master). the base also needed to be hidden, eg cover it with black sandpaper to look like asphalt (pointed out by 1zebra3)
