  1. nice stang. looks pretty good. it's fairly dusty, so did you make it some time ago? just asking, cant do much about ###### dust.
  2. nice looking porsche
  3. we need to see some pictures without the body, so we can admire your scratchbuilding.
  4. 'tis a very nice hudson, even if it's pink. yeah, funny how pastels were so popular then.
  5. actually, he calls 'eleanor' his unicorn, so you're looking for a unicorn.
  6. i'd like to do the cars from that movie eventually. so far i've only done a quickie skank barracuda, made from a hemi under glass and 69 cuda kits. one day i'll fill the rear wheel arches and put on those new decals i got for it.
  7. your pimpmobile gremlin is coming along nicely. how little you know, padawan. in 1975 the band 'War' released a song titled Lowrider, that went number 1 on billboard. lowriders ARE the 70s. for those who don't know it, it's the song Cage and crew listens to in Gone in 60 Seconds (2001).
  8. after doing a dowdy daily driver, i'm now doing my second 71 GTX, this time with a bit more. I'm calling this car Bigmouth. it'll be a purple street machine with hemi and big rims. 1. i painted the body purple and it went very flat due to the cold weather. i clear coated it several times, but it's still flat. 2. i decided to ditch the 440+6 in favour of a Hemi, which i got from the 68 charger kit. 3. Chassis in black. i had to notch out the chassis to fit the big rubber. 4. pic with rims mockup
  9. man, that's a crazy set up, but oh so cool.
  10. This is my 'little mule' from the movie Romancing the Stone. It's the recent AMT kit with a modified bullbar and a few extra lights. I cut off the horse badge and the F.O.R.D on the leading edge of the hood. I added a third seat to the interior. the decals are home printed.
  11. That's a whacky looking monaro you ended up with. you probably could have painted the inside of the headlight silver would make it a lot better looking. other than that, well done. i would have cut the dash differently, by taking the instrument cluster out and a matching box on the other side, but whatever works for you to build your skills. i did an alfa dash by cutting it into four parts to keep the symmetry.
  12. Last Interceptor This link has a list of everything max carries in the interceptor, and the pictures will help accurise the interior if you want to.
  13. whacky already. you could have removed the rear fenders to make it look like a highboy
  14. That's a pretty amazing paint job, it outshines everything else.
  15. yes, here
  16. This is the Monogram 71 Plymouth. I built it as a survivor, it's dirty and messy but washed comes up a treat. i swapped the rims for steelies from the 68 charger kit. chassis is weathered with rust acrylics. i've run out of chrome foil, so i'll maybe do it later. WIP here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57314&hl=&fromsearch=1
  17. i'm impressed with your weathering, looks realistic.
  18. i've been waiting to see someone build this kit. i've got mine, just haven't decided how to build it.
  19. That thing is just freaky. Beautiful as it is. '...I accidentally built this...'
  20. i'm not much into drag racing, but that model is sweet. Your beautiful execution deserves A+.
  21. want correct firing order for your next engine, save this image for reference neat reference chart, it is.
  22. it's a cool idea to make a matchbox into 1/25 scale. i did one earlier with the #70 Snake Dragster (i've since recycled this charger).
  23. That's a nicely built model. paint is good color
  24. Whenever i want a 1/24 scale bike, i look in the diecast section. there's a super bikes range by Motor Max.
