Sorry to disappoint, I'm just not feeling the stacks yet... I haven't given up on them but....

So I can never leave well enough alone... And the stacks never really looked "just right" to me. But I knew I didn't want to just throw a standard scoop on. Tonight looking at my parts tree the idea hit me, I took one look at that shaker scoop and got to cutting. Still pretty roughed out, but I think the stacks are going back in the parts bin.

Really good job, I started about your age too, I learned a lot of things along the way and still learn more to this day. Please keep sharing. -

I'm going to see how the paint idea in my head translates to real life, if it needs a little "more" I might throw some decals on there.

So things are looking a lot less bare plastic around here now. Got the chassis painted, slight weathering started and you get a hint of what color might be on the body soon. body is getting close to paint too. I do need to test fit my interior parts before I get too much further though.

Having owned a C6 and being familiar with the the anniversary editions, id say you nailed it. -
Yup... Ordering a vacuum form today.

Got a set of headers thanks to JollySipper, so I was able to move forward on some other things. First I addressed the holes for the hood hinges, since I won't be using a hood, I won't be needing those. after that I cleaned up some mold lines, scribed the panel gaps deeper and started priming stuff. I'm happy with how the chassis turned out considering all the holes I had to fill and the wheel well mods. Can't wait to start shooting it with color.

project "U-Hauler"

I've figured out a few ways I "could" do the door. What I'm challenging myself with is deciding if it's worth the trouble. Once the model is finished how am I likely to have it displayed? Opening and closing is a novelty at that point, and I'm debating if it's nessisary. -
Looking great as usual buddy.. You beat me to the first primed part already.

None yet, kinda got stuck on the rear door and put it aside for a bit, it's on my "finish over winter" list
