  1. I love everything about this one, glad to see it finished!
  2. Very nice!
  3. Well this one is worth watching
  4. Looks really nice! I've never really given too much thought to these kits, but you are doing a good job of making me want to build one!
  5. Bill, this is looking great. I know that feeling all too well. I have many many started projects on the workbench lined up in a row that have all stalled at the same spot. I get all the mockup and major construction done, and get stuck. There is something about the raw plastic look that still holds some charm to me as well..
  6. Very cool
  7. Looking good! I just found a 30 body to plop on one of my existing projects. Love the low bodies with the full roof. There is something about that look that just gets me going.
  8. Haha, just cause it's cruddy doesn't mean it's not gonna get done right. sprayed a quick coat of primer to see where I am.. Have a lot of work to do. I also stated modifying the custom seats into some bomber style seats.
  9. The rear trim left a lot to be desired, so I built that back up
  10. Turned out amazing!
  11. This body is rough!! Spent a lot of time cleaning mold lines, scribing panel lines and general cleanup. I even had to split the front at a mold line and glue it back together it was so far off. I also removed the molded in wipers and the side emblems.
  12. Ok I have to know which Duplicolor clear that is? I use it a lot too but I never get a finish like that! Amazing! I picked up some of those pearls the other day, glad to know they work well!
  13. Also playing with the wheels since I have a couple extra that have seen better days
  14. Started with the tires from the Revell lowrider kits. Used an extra set of tires and sliced them down the center, leaving and extra rib on one side.
  15. made some fatter rear tires up in between sanding and solvent setting..
  16. This one will be heavily inspired by this ride I found on Instagram a while ago. got a deal on a not so awesome AMT kit and away we go.. The real one has a two inch chop, so out came the razor saw I ended up just removing the rear portion, laying it forward a bit, and moving its location up a bit. mocked up on a parts box wheel and some lowrider dunlop tires. I think we are headed somewhere
  17. I'm really thinking of embracing the "uhaul in a past life" theme. might be a tow rig of some sorts but that's down the line.
  18. Not normally a T lover or a fan of the track nose, but lately I find myself really liking them when they have that "look". Early on I can tell you have captured that. I'll be watching this one for sure!
  19. Looks great! I especially like the effect you got on the bumpers
