  1. Wow I'm going to have to play with that renshape now, that looks the part for sure!
  2. Really nice start, this one looks like it is shaping up to be a looker! I'm tuning into this one for sure.
  3. Looks like a good start James.. You have just as bad of building ADD as I do! Ok maybe not.. That AMT kit brings back horrible memories, but I wouldn't have passed up a $5 project either.
  4. Wow, I have passed this one by a few times, now I'm sorry I did! The building in here is epic!
  5. Working on the wheel wells this morning, had to make them a touch larger since I opened up the quarter panel. Also had to fill in that hole from the area I carved out.
  6. Wow! That is super cool
  7. they are?
  8. I've been getting really lucky on this one, I'm sure I'll pay for it by saying this. But some builds fight me start to finish, this one I've been pretty lucky and things are just falling into place. Tackled the ladder bars tonight, first I started with the rear bars from the new 29 roadster kit then made a crossmember from coated wire. a little trimming and I'm in business, I might add some more bracing to the bars, I'll play with it a bit tomorrow.
  9. Wow! You gotta get some good pictures of those, looks like a more than a few great builds there
  10. Looks really nice!
  11. Could really mess with our heads and incorporate more cuda styling cues in the front, hat center grille bar really starts leaning that way. this kind of reminds me of that car that recently wa built in 1:1, it had inspiration from many pony cars. It's name escapes me at the moment though..
  12. I have a soft spot for these Camaros. I'm sure this won't disappoint
  13. Oh man, this is about to get good... Well better it was already good
  14. Today I moved onto the rear suspentuon. I cleaned up the axle tubes to remove the leaf spring pads, then built a crossmember at the rear and moved the leaf springs inward a bit to make room for those big tires. while that was setting up I moved up front to the inner fender wells. Those need to go. tons of room for headers now!
  15. wrong one.. We do act alike though so much so that his dad calls me his adopted son. Haha
  16. Something I forgot to mention yesterday. The beauty of the Internet is the ability to not post all the stuff I screwed up before I finally had something presentable. I have a big pile of "scrap" from things I flung across the shop. Either from the lathe, or my hands. hA!
  17. Trust me.. If the paint idea works out, krazy will make sense
  18. Remade the stacks.. Better this time I think. I also made a blower intake while I was at it, I like tall and crazy apparently.
  19. Well, I think this should do.. straight to crAzYtoWn
  20. Man this sounds fun, I'll have to see what my work schedule is, what day is it?
  21. that's a good thought that has crossed my mind actually...
  22. Yeah, that seems too predictable for me though... I want something kinda funky
