  1. There is also craigs list! I have seen people selling lots on there in the past!
  2. That first car for some reason makes me think of a wasp? The snowscooter thing makes me think of a grasshopper? Now where did the number go for my shrink? LOL. Now the motorcycle is cool of course!! Love the buggatti! Why not electric for it? Come one, wouldnt they have a edge being the first energy smart luxury sports car? I do have to agree with Harrys input on the "hubless" wheels! The way I love to race like a bat out of heck and take corners fast, I would hate to think how many bearings I would have gone through already if they were on my custom conversion van!!
  3. One on the out. Well out to my grandpas anyways.
  4. Is thiss for interesting cars or cars we saw while driving? Very interesting!
  5. Looks great!
  6. WOW! You lucky son of a gun! LOL. Must be a absolute terrific ride! And why have you not done a model of it yet? LOL.
  7. I am not into low riders or donks. That being said though, I am into customs and some of the interior work is the same idea. This is a terrific thing to know! Once I find some good cash after paying taxes on the house, I will have to try it!
  8. Looks great and sounds like it was fun!
  9. WOW! I never have seen this one before! Its cooler then heck! Great job.
  10. One way is to make your own aluminum stacks and use a straight pin. You can glue a smaller diameter plastic tube into the velocity stack. Then glue the straight pin in, leaving the plastic ball on the top light how they used to drop the tennis balls ontop of them so that rain would not go down them.
  11. Interestingly enough, Ma's Resins has repoped the tub and its interior. I bought one to make a single tub show hot rod someday down the road! Still wondetring if I can find flocking in a real rich burgandy color for it? Anyways, another nice build of a classic!
  12. Nice!
  13. Looks awesome! I see other things too I like! May have to place a small order after I can pay my taxes!
  14. Nice job on that one!
  15. This is a old post. But,looks freakin awesome!!
  16. Terrific stuff! Love to see what you do now!
  17. Ifn I can find my desk. Oh wait, is it under this pile of papers and plumbing parts. Ah yes, there it is. Your wish is my command! I am leaning towards these! However, I wouold need to find another front rim as I have lost one some how durring the move, or it did not get put where it was supposed to when I organized everything before the move! Did I say organized. Somethings wrong! LOL. By the way, figured out how to clear things up, turn the kitchen light on as well and it gives me enough light in the dinning room to take a decent shot! LOL.
  18. That is great! Nice job on the recovery of this oldy!
  19. I dig the Pisano and love the two vintage Feds! All are great builds!
  20. This will be a killer cool trailer! I love it!
  21. Very cool!
  22. Sweet! You dont see these around!
  23. A couple of peeps and I are doing a "Shop Truck" build off for fun. My build, a 29 Ford Closed Cab. My truck will be just a fun advertisement for the shop! I have not set in stone the wheels and rims just yet. But I am leaning towards these wheels. Motor I am thinking the parts pack Pontiac? The only thing I do know of so far is how the frame is done! LOL. From the rear of the front cross member back is all scratch built. I am supposed to have this one finished by April Fools day! Wish me luck! Between still trying to find a job and the new work load on me with this new fixer upper house, I will need it! LOL. ( By the way, I have enough bad luck, so dont wish me none unless its all good! ROFLMBO!) P.S. Sorry for the pics. The lighting in this place sucks and I could not find a setting where it liked it, so I shot them anyways. Thanks for looking.
  24. Man that looks killer!!
  25. Ah yes, as I said, primarily ran in the stock class. The gasser classification/ guidlines changed many times over. If you removed the front suspension and added a straight axle, it could possibly become a gasser. But there is more to that then just that! Likewise, if you were to move the engine back slightly, it would have become a altered depending on the year. Likewise, changing the wheelbase would have made it a AWB. However, in the early sixties, it could have been one of three things, and had the opportunity to choose wich class to run in. But by the mid sixties, more regulations came about changing all of the fun. By the late sixties, they were so regulated that these cars were generally ran as stock. In the early seventies, things changed drastically and changed the whole concept of racing! Now there are many people who are rivet counters and can even go in and tell you every regulation change made and when! I applaud them and thier vast knowledge! But as stated, with our models, we can interperite anyting the way we desire to! Gasser is used very loosly indeed. To do such a thing, remove the front suspension pieces and smooth out the frame. Then add leaf springs like those from the early chevies and a straight axle, slap slicks in the rear and there you go! Remove the inner fenderwells and throw on some nice headers and your all set. These were nice cars to modify!
