  1. That thing looks super! I might need to buy that kit eventually!
  2. You are forgetting two things that are required to do the detailing that you do without buying the stuff or haveing the fancy tools! One is the time to do it! Something I cant afford as much as I really wish I could! Second is skill! brother, thats something you have a lot of and I know I have nill to none of! But thats why I like watching some of these posts like yours and others that do it that way! Once in a while, I even see how to do something cool! Now comes a third issue for me. Thats a memory to remember these things! LOL!
  3. Very nice indeed! Great build!
  4. Looking good. Keep it going!
  5. This promises to be a real cool build!

  7. WOW! Was not exspecting this or PMs! Thanks a ton guys! Your great folk here! Thats why I love this forum so much!
  8. Turned out gorgious! Terrific detail pon that thing! Super job!
  9. That is looking terrific so far! Would be cool to see it done like the HW! Nice job on that paint too!
  10. I always figure the "on the work bench" was for any model that fits within the forums guidelines that you are currently working on was for. Then the break downs were for the finished models! However, I always see poeple do it all sorts of ways and well, thats why I dont look just under certain catagories, but hit the "view new topic" button and read the names. If it looks interesting, I click it! if it dont, I dont! I would have passed this topic by completely if I had not noticed who the builder was. But after watching the chevelle, I just had to absolutly check it out! Aftashocks work is so exsquisit that I have to watch it no matter what the built topic is! Never know how many things I might learn!
  11. Great! That was not the adhesive I was exspecting you to tell me about! LOL. Thats why I may ask the same questions to a couple of poeple! Now last question for the mo, I promise. Did you have any trouble with the super glue trying to seep through the holes on the bandages. Yes I know this is kinda a silly question. If you dont put too much on, you dont have to worry about that right. LOL. However I always seem to end up doing the opposite of what I should by mere accident! Esp. on the super glue bottles as they will get clogged, then gush all at once on me and useually at that point, I will get stuck on my work! LOL. Thanks for the help.
  12. Thanks for the reply. I was wondering. Now if I may ask, what do you apply it with to ensure it does not fall off or become loose over the years? I am ready to move to the next two levels on chute packs, so the more I know, the better. Thanks.
  13. Great save! Nice build. Cool details! Super model! What did you use to cover the chute pack? Thanks.
  14. WOW! What can I say. Paint job looks good! Tire marking are nice and clean. Interior detailing is super great! Engine detailing is as nice! terrific job on this!

  17. That looks great! Nice job
  18. That is looking super! You dont see these done this way too often! Wich chassis did you use and did you have to midify it?
  19. That body is looking good! BTW, you can do future now, then another coat of primer!I cant wait to see it in color! As for the interior detail, it does look wierd compaired to the regular panels we are used to seeing! However I am sure when done, will look fine!
  20. That is a terrific start!
  21. I use Doctor Ben's instant rust and instant age found on Ebay. Very easy to use! I did not know what I was doing, got this stuff used it and I still dont know what I am doing! LOL. But heres how good the stuff works! For the "pits" I Painted on black primer and sprinkled on table salt and let dry. Then I painted on the green and let dry. Then I scraped off the table salt and rusted. I did all of the rusting in maybe a hour mack on the whole model!
  22. Stunning work so far! This is promising to be one terrific build!
  23. If I didnt know any better, I never would have fathomed it to be hand painted and drawn! What a beautiful job on a beautiful car!
  24. Nice progress so far! I like its real hot rod stance!
