  4. I look forward to watching this one!
  5. For a blower system, I think the most common is a twin set up. If you look at the twin blowers on the bottom of the last engine pic, you would basically see that same thing mounted onto the carb. This would allow the air in and force it into the carb faster. Otherwise, I only really have seen hats on the carbs. I believe I have seen someone master those twin blowers like that, but I can not remember who for the life of me! I remember they had heated and stretched sprue to do it though. They had wrapped it around a tube in the center I believe?
  6. Thanks for the cool tip! Looks most excellent sir!
  7. That is one beautiful job! Great looking replica. I like the attention to the detail including the rubber!
  8. Man you move right along!
  9. Dang you have been busy since I last checked in! Looking great of course! Jody
  10. Thank you for your very kind words so far every one. I am trying to be her rock, but I always seem to become too comandeering over details and loose ends for her taiste. Then she runs rabid over everything else and wont make the time to embrace like I feel as though she needs! All in due time!
  11. That looks great!Jody
  12. They pulled the life support from my wifes step father last night about seven and we got there moments later. We stayed until about nine thirty. He seemed O.K. and surviving the whole time. Could not speek or nod by this time as he was on morphine and other drugs taboot. But he was there, with eyes open. We got the call at one in the morning that he had passed at about twelve forty five. So may he rest in peace! Since there was no will, there is a ton of stuff to do in the next few days and a ton to get out of his house and barn including 7 vehicles! One of them is a 1952(?) triumph. So I wont be around much as said before. May the Lord be with all of the family now durring this time of suffering and time of mayhem. Jody
  13. Yes, I have found some of James bodies a tad thick. But, then again, every body I have bought, only he offered that I could find and was not warped or damaged! I have found few imperfections too. I have the chopped dodge van in the waitings and I know that will make one killer vehicle. I have never bought his stuff elsewhere. I have always bought directly, quick turn around and he is always "padding" the order with something. So I always look forward to see what my surprise or surprises will be!There are few I have dealt with that have gone above and beyond. The other one is Ed Fluck. Unfortunatly I have not dealt with too many, so for the others, time hopefully will tell! LOL. Thanks.
  14. Very well done so far. Will make a terrific build! Whos car will you be replicating? I will be watching this one!
  15. You da man! Still looking totally rad! It is because of you I think this next project I hope to do will have full suspension! There is one other who has done it recently as well, wich was on a willys, wich I hope will be my next project! Keep it up! Jody
  16. Looking killer!
  17. A beautiful replica there indeed. Great job. Jody
  18. Terrific combo. Great work indeed! Jody
  19. Great concept and looks very cool! Jody
  20. About the only thing I really see off hand usable on these other kits is the front cowl, a pattern for the c cab opening and maybe a couple of misc parts. Of course, the cowl would be the hardest to try to ever create so having a kit piece is a good start. Jody
  21. Thats just the problem though, NONE of those are the 1923 fiberglass hot rod version! There is WORLD of difference between any of those and what I am talking about! Here are a few examples.Even a 25 would work for me if need be, but the 23's are more prominent. Jody http://wildbillsrods.com/images/23%20C%20cab%20delivery.jpg
  22. That is a terrific old skool gasser. great job. I love it! Jody
  23. Yes, I keep wanting a 1923 C cab body like those fiberglass versions seen all over America. I keep wondering why no one has ever produced one or why no one has ever casted one! I want one badly, but I just do not have the time to devote to it, let alone ever finishing something! I am wondering if someone would want to master one and we can combine forces to get someone to cast it so that is can be available? I honestly think this would be a great item as it lends itself to all kinds of styles of builds and can use any style chassis set ups to get it rolling. I mean gasser, hot rod, traditional rod, show car, daily driver, big 4x4, just a body in a shop scene, a rust bucket, a barn find what have you. Anyone interested? Jody
