  3. Looking "######" good. You shure are "cranking" them out! No wonder they call you DamnCranky! LOL. Nice all of them! Jody
  4. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Unforgiven, this will be one that I finish and not too long from now! Jody
  5. Well, to me it sounds like the company had a choice, move you and pay you less, or lay you off or find a reason to fire you! I would take the move if possible! I have been layed off and finding decent work for decent pay in my area does not seem very likely at the moment. I am only one of millions across the USA that has been layed off within the last year! Now if you can not accept it due to day care situations, I suggest to quickly find a new day care! However, if you can not. I am sure you will be denied UIB to start with but if you apeal it and you have good solid reason and proof in writing for it like not being able to work around the schedule with day care, there is a chance to still get it. However again, even though it totally sucks and ticks you off and leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, Id take the postion offered! Jody
  6. Well, I got this glue bomb off of unforgiven here. Only took me like over half a year to persuade him to finially mail it. LOL. Actually it took me that long to tell him yes I wanted it, send it NOW!! LOL. I had to find some missing parts for it. Now that I have everything that I want for it and it has been all stripped, I can paint it and put it together. The color is I think sea foam metalic green? I removed all of the trim and belt lines and smoothed it out. Then I frenched the head lights. I then glued on the seperate sun visor, filled it in and smoothed it out to mold it into the body. I have painted the body, but ran out of the paint and still need to touch up a couple of the bed parts, so have to wait a week to finish the body. This is without any clear gloss on it! It will ride on white walls sporting cragar rims and will be motorvated with the BBC from the 1970 1/2 baldwin motion camaro. Thanks for looking. Jody
  7. Looks like a much better turn out then last year. I can see some models I can tell who did like bowties ect. But, it is hard for me to pick out Monty's. That tracter looks very cool! Who did that beats! I also see a few trucks. There were like none last year! It pleases me to see the show growing! I sure do miss it! Jody
  8. I believe as long as you make sure you have a 2.2 size rim opening you can use kit rims? There are some really nice street tires in R/C. or, get some nice ones from the old van kit. Not slicks, but a good sized tire anyways. Jody
  9. looking cool. Jody
  10. Well, if they state they have not changed the formula and dont plan to, but yet the recent BMF was starting to not stick and now they are selling packages with a small added lable stating new, makes me wonder. You guys say after sitting a while it does not stick as well. Were they selling surplus thats been around for a while and thats why the problems. Now when they make a fresh batch (same formula) they lable it new, so it sticks better, yet not changing thier formula? Just a question. LOL. Jody
  11. Dang where did you get that intake set up? I like that! Jody
  12. I love the 32 phatom viky frame! But for old school, its a no go. From what I have seen most all of the rest of the frames have molded in belly pans, so not all the greates. I prefer R/M over AMT by far. If you are looking for perhaps a 32 rails for a t bucket, you will more then likely have to pinch the frame rails together to fit to the t bucket body better. Theres honestly not a tremendious amount of different between the 32 chassis and the 29 as for the front of the frame. if thats the only section that will show, then you might be able to get away with that. As for the rear of the frames, I usually tend to do some scratch building to get them the way I like. Jody
  13. I will be scratch building a car trailer for my diorama. I am looking for any good pics of older trailer like drag trailers from the 60's. If you have any, I would be delighted to see them. Thanks. Jody
  14. Sure wish I still lived down there for those. Someone say hi to Monte Lowens for me! Jody
  15. I have always wanted to build one of these, its just like wanting to own a big brute r/c truck. However, this is more attainable. Your looks dang good and makes me want to build one all the more! Jody
  16. They both look like they will be good. The first really has my attention!! Jody
  17. Did the how to that I sent you help any. Again, if you have any specific questions I would only be happy to help as much as I can. Jody
  18. Looks like you have been doing some real good progress!! Jody
  19. Thanks everyone for the replies. I will be using the duplicolor auto white primer before laying down the pearl white, so hopefully I wont have any problems. MR>BIGGS I have eyed the HOK paints. I cant get them anywheres here in the can, only the bottle and they are exspensive! Of course so arnt the models starting at $20 for a heavy chevy ect. Perhaps once I get a better air brush I can order them online? I am looking forward to trying them, thats for sure! Jody
  20. Nice and smooth! Very well done. Jody
  21. I picked up a can of the one coat purple, pink and white. A friend told me the white has great trouble laying down. Has anyone used it ? Can anyone give me any words of cautions or tips or what ever. Thanks. Jody
  22. As for thier primers, I have used both laquar based and enamel based, with the same results. There has been no difference between white, red, green or black other then the base color for you top coats. I have used the green etching with succes on tires before using thier white for the white walls. I usually use the etching on everything or the sandable. Once in a great while if I am doing a bunch of custom body work, I will use the high build formula to help fill in the small spots that may be left after putty. Thanks. jody
  23. Al, I always enjoy seeing your builds finished or not! Another nice one there. Cant wait to see it finished! Jody
  24. I am considering investing in the micromark's etching kit. Has anyone used this? Is it worth the price/ can you do PE parts at a reasonable price? How easy or hard is it to create the image to use for the PE? Thanks. Jody
  25. Sounds good treehuggerdave. I joined thier forum to get some insight to this process. I see that they are rather a large business and yes primarily for the 1:1 world. But they do seem to also have some stuff for us hoobiests. I saw some pics of some scale boats that had used thier system. They look good. I also noted that they are in Lions NY, maybe a hour away from me. So I may call them up and see if I can go visit them and get a lesson from them and maybe a sample done? If so, I will keep you posted. Jody
