  2. Those car are in fact "original" . they are not "picked" over. I don't think a '77 Vega sells for 11k due to hype .. if you were in the restoration business, you'd know how important these cars are ...

  16. Unfortunately the car was butchered. The body kit was installed incorrectly and is busting out at the seams. I'm fairly certain the parts can be saved, but I wouldn't know for sure until they're off the car. The story on it was, the current owner bought the car without ever seeing it. Commissioned a shop in Australia that was recommended by the company he bought it from in Australia http://www.aussiecoupes.com/index.html . Apparently the body shop doing the work overshot the scheduled completion date by more than a year, the owner lost interest in the car, had it pulled from the shop and shipped to the US. All said and done he's got 30k into it at this point ( initial purchase, shop time, shipping, taxes etc etc ).
  17. I'm praying he works out a deal..
  18. a Ford Falcon XB, the car From the 1st 2 Road Warrior movies ? I thought everyone knew this car ?
  19. Went and checked out this beauty today. Was imported 11 years ago and been sitting ever since. A client of mine is negotiating the purchase of it, and with any luck he'll get it. Which means it will become my next 1:1 project. I couldn't be happier. I've always loved this car and I'm very excited to possibly have the opportunity to build one. Time will tell ..
