  1. There are a couple, BMW 635 and the Lamborghini Countach ..
  2. Nope an AMT '96 Chevy Tahoe .. I was shocked. I asked a couple of time, what the cheapest possible method of shipping it was. Maybe I got an inexperienced clerk ? It seems like highway robbery to me .
  3. I was just curious, I have a chance to get a kit subject I've always wanted, but its made by Academy. I have no experience with this manufacturer .. I've been bitten before by "off brand" kits.. Example; the Yodel Plymouth Fury.. great box art .. horrible kit ..
  4. Shipping to Canada ain't cheap ... It killed a trade another member and I were working on.. $41 to ship a kit across the border .. ridiculous !
  5. I'd be a buyer if you cast 71-74 Javelins, Rebels, Gremlins Hornets .. Jo-Han had some really great AMC subjects .. on a side note, I am seriously considering the purchase of a 3-D printer for my "real" job of restoring classic cars. Some of the small interior pieces are just not re-popped and the time I spend tracking down a small piece that most likely will need restoration ( which involves more time ) makes it kind of a no brainer. The only thing that holds me back is the speed at which this technology is moving. If I spend $ 2500-3000 on one right now, in 3 mos. it'll most likely be obsolete ..
  6. The poster of this YouTube video says this is a scratch-built 45cc V8 with Megaquirt MS2 fuel injection that as made in the shed with an old manual Bridgeport mill and a 95-year-old lathe. There has to be a TON of hours in this build !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EGXo5HwIHk#t=48
  7. Ebay came through again. After some communication issues with a questionable seller, it being delivered to the wrong address and chased down I finally got it home. Revell Ferrari 308 GTB, from 1979, open box, unopened bags, $5.45 .. not to shabby ...
  8. I was amazed at how fast it was resolved.. despite the fact the box was destroyed, I still left the guy good feedback. Didn't seem right to trash the guy after he agreed to make it right. At the end of the day I got the kit for $8.00 ..
  9. First kit I ever built.. it was way beyond my skill level at 7 years old ..LOL.. I'd love to find another but not at the prices they command nowadays !!!

  11. what GREAT hot rod material !!! Something totally different !!
  12. Got a couple of "oldies" from eBay today. Bought purely for the nostalgia factor. Had these when I was 7- 8 yrs old.. wanted to do them again. Pretty happy except for the condition of the Dodge Dart. Was mailed out with no box, just wrapped in bubble wrap.. box was pretty bad off but the plastic was intact. Who does this ?
  13. everytime I click on "product" it goes to a page with no info. link for your eBay page ?
  14. You need to fix your website, it's pretty screwed up ...
  15. Awesome builds, very clean, but I'd have to agree with previous comments about the hoods. Makes them look almost "unfinished" .. Just an opinion , and you know what they say about those ...
  16. I have to say the same, wouldn't hesitate to trade with Matt T. again...
  17. I've found that using spent shell casings works very well, and if you happen to own several different caliber guns like I do, you can make a pretty nice collection of "dies" in no time .
  18. Yes, But I'm in the US.. so it's probably a much , much longer wait ..
  19. Those are such sweet cars !!!I wanted one so bad when I was younger, but insurance rates here in the US made my folks say "NO" !! But on the upside, I did manage to get a Dodge Omni GLHS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_GLHS, the "square" one.. I had no idea what it was at the time, but it looked cool. I wish I still had it ..
  20. Scale Production - http://www.scaleproduction.de/ I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in dealing with these guys. The look like they have some really great stuff that you can't get in the states.. I'm willing to pay the shipping, just curious what the turn around time is ?
