  1. Hey, how come its OK for Harry to say BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, but if I say BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH I get a warning point ? I think that's BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH !
  2. That is pretty much how I handle it, when I get a "block" .. there is zero sense in forcing it, you'll never be happy with the results. But being on this board and a few others helps a lot as far as "keeping the ideas coming" ..
  3. The mailman and I are on a first name basis .. I got these today, I love kits in bags, they are so cheap without the box I'm just gonna toss anyway. The Tamiya white primer was $5.50 a can, super cheap.. I have 9 more coming .. best primer ever..
  4. Happens to me every time the weather warms up, but I know I'll be back again when the leaves start to change...
  5. Who says Jesse James is morally bankrupt ? He just see's the world different than you do .. Besides, he can't be that bad.. he married that goodie goodie Sandra Bullock.
  6. Does anyone here follow The Walking Dead ? It's really about the only show I watch regularly ..
  7. First thing I thought to myself.. 1980's Hot Rod Magazine .. I think it looks pretty durn cool !!!
  8. No, the LA Dart has the correct grille and turn signals .. it also has the correct "dodge" script on the hood ..
  9. The blue on the top left looks like it'd make a nice MoPar B5 Blue ..
  10. Be a lot easier and cheaper to us the '69 dart you need as he donor anyway, and use the quarter panels to make the LA Dart look stock. It also solves the vent window issue. Have you priced out a Ramcharger '70 Dart kit ? Beyond stupid in pricing. So, buy the LA Dart, and a '69 Dart, $35-40 , you'll have all the parts you need, and still be ahead of the game. Or you could buy the resin piece ($40 plus ) AND still need the '69 Dart ($15-20 ) to complete it, still need to send the parts out to chrome and be left with fewer parts for the parts bin .. it's a no brainer really ..
  11. Gonna have to disagree there, Tom. The wheelbase is not altered. True the vent window is missing, and the rear qtrs are opened, but that can be fixed very easily. Also the marker lights are molded in place. Check out the pics ...
  12. Wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to just buy the LA Dart kit, open the hood, and fab up a deck lid ? I mean the parts are already chromed so you'll save $$ there too. Given that no matter what your stuck buying a donor kit , seems to me it'd be much more simple to go that route .. not to mention you'll get a lot more parts for your parts box that way .. seems kind of a waste of money ...
  13. Probably because there wasn't one ...
  14. Logan airport in Boston is pretty good, you don't mess with them, they don't mess with you. Hartsfield Jackson in ATL is a totally different story ..
  15. I understand there is a "need" for heightened security and such. Unfortunately it's the world we live in. But when they make my 9 year old daughter cry and think she did something bad because she has a portable DVD player in her backpack.. that's a little over the line .
  16. hahahahahahaha, I remember when traveling used to be fun.. now it's a real PITA
  17. Agreed, eBay is a great source for hard to find things.. but it needs to have a little more in end user options ..
  18. The fact that no matter what kit I search eBay for, that idiot "pj-toys" comes up, with his overpriced kits and ridiculous "parts" listings . Why doesn't eBay have a permanent "block" option ?
  19. Chip Foose Firebird, AMT/Round2 '70 Ford Police Car, MPC WWII Jeep and an order from eBay missing about half the pieces ..
  20. I'm curious as to the ( other than the obvious ) differences between flocking and using the flour method for the carpet ? Are there any advantages in flour over flocking . Like , say other than most every home having an abundance of flour on hand ? I've always used flocking , just wondering if I'm missing out on something here ?
  21. Yet another amazing build. fantastic man !
