  1. I went through all 36 pages and I have to say EVERYONE's builds are amazing.
  2. Wow. the colors and decal work are insane.
  3. That motor is awesome. The car looks amazing already.
  4. Really cool. It definitely has a backyard racer feel to it.
  5. Looks cool but I have to say I like the old bed better.
  6. Really cool. I like the right hand drive.
  7. Interesting. It's cool to see all the different styles of beds.
  8. Cool build. Fireball is one of my favorite drivers.
  9. Cool build. How do you keep everything steady enough to get the decals on the wheels?
  10. Glad to see everything will be ok. We used to have a dozen or so Clark stations in my area. All but one is demolished now though. How did you make that sign? It looks awesome.
  11. WOW, That's awesome. I never thought about using aluminum for the panels. Makes those of us worried about getting flame to close to the body have a shot at doing our own dents. Thanks very much. That hood looks great. Just like something you would see in a junkyard.
  12. Cool tutorial a very simple way to add a bit more accuracy to a build.
  13. It's just the regular trailer with the display built around it. Nick had the right idea with his toss the display part and just use it as a open trailer. If you want an enclosed trailer get one of the Galaxie Limited trailers. Those are much much better and way more accurate.
  14. I think it's cool. Definitely not something you see modeled every day.
  15. Glad to see the link maybe it will bring a few more to Emodelcars.
  16. I agree with what you are saying and I do think they are a smart idea but I don't really see the people lining up to by them. Every hobby shop I go to has them on the shelf and usually you can find them 25% off or more. The only reason I bought the two collectors tins I have is because the collector tins on clearance were cheaper than the regular box kit. The only people buying the movie kit tins are movie collectors who "need" the tins for their collections. I don't really see any modelers lining up to buy them.
  17. That's the fun of trying to redo a car from your past. It's never as fun as you remember. The only thing I can tell you is use a piece of clear acetate for the windshield but it might be hard to get it to curve correctly.
  18. Looks great. I am glad to see Moebius did their homework and made the Tim Flock car a 52 instead of a 53.
  19. 5 is the default and possible cap with the new version of IP board. Give Greg, Harry, and whoever else helps with the boards time to play around with the new setup before you start going off on the way things are. Perhaps instead of saying are we going backwards in yet another post about the new boards you could have sent a pm to Greg asking about raising the limit back to 10 (he may not even realize it isn't 10 anymore). Then you could have not only gotten to the one person that can actually change something but also avoided the useless back and forth that is now happening. Also I sincerly hope they never go to unlimited photos their are already enough blurry out of focus horrible photos being posted every day without letting people post up an unlimited amount of said photos.
  20. If Okey isn't even making what few plastic toolings JoHan has left were are they now? I mean the Ramber is pretty cool I would think Revell or R2 would jump at the chance to get the tooling for it. Even Galaxie Limited or Mobius would probably be interested.
  21. If you like the tin for yourself then it might be worth it but as has been said it's never going to be worth anything collector market wise.
  22. Congrats. I don't have any trophies for modeling yet but I remember my first racing trophy. It's an amazing feeling to be recognized.
  23. You could use flexible LED lighting. that is what I use for all sorts of small space applications. Lowes and Home Depot at one time could even custom cut lengths of it. Now I think you can get kits to make your own lengths.
  24. The Hobby Lobby here is decent. 24 ft of car models. They have a decent selection of tools (more than the local hobby shop) and are getting in more paint. Of course it doesn't hurt that BOTH the new store manager and assistant store manager are model guys. They will even "order" a model for you if the warehouse has it. Of course when the managers move on the models will probably dry up again. The Michaels here is a joke. I've gone in twice a month for the last year and I am not kidding only 3 different kits on the shelves today that weren't there last year. Even when they do their coupon nobody buys.
