  1. Chris, I'm intending to do a Zephyr grille and taillight conversion for my body. Just haven't gotten it done yet...
  2. Man you work fast, Chuck! You've done more in a day than I've done in a year! LOL By the way, thanks for the kind words and your work on the decals...
  3. For those of you who can read Spanish, you'll probably get a bit more out of it, but it's a really cool video my brother sent me. http://www.wimp.com/tiniestengine/
  4. LOL! I've never gotten into heavy duty resin grinding and don't really care to, if possible. Sounds like you're making nice progress Greg. I'm looking forward to your pics when you have them up. Take care!
  5. Super build so far Tyrone. Keep up the fantastic fabrication... I still think you were sandbagging on us! LOL
  6. It's looking great so far! '57 Fords are one of my favorite cars of all time. This one will be fun to continue watching... Thanks for sharing!
  7. That's a great looking pan, Alan! Very nice...
  8. Boy, that's looking great, Chris. As with the others, the blower pulley looks a bit too big. It looks like it might be a 1:1 ratio with the crank pulley (just eyeballing). What kind of drive ratios did they use on fuel engines at that time? I know I've read in years past but I don't recall now... :-(
  9. If I didn't live a half-country away, I'd come! LOL I'd love to go sometime...
  10. An alternative to chroming PE parts is, if you can find stuff constructed out of stainless steel or nickel-silver, they can probably be polished to look very similar to chrome.
  11. Man! You're off to a flyin' start! Everything you've done so far looks great. This one will be fun to watch...
  12. I'm blown away by the job you've done on this Chris... Way to go, bro'!
  13. Tyrone, That definitely doesn't look like the first time you've scratched a full chassis... I think you've been sandbaggin' on us!!!
  14. Fabulous work, Clay. I love your painstaking attention to detail. There are a lot of great builders on the forum but you're right up there at the top of the pack!
  15. Here is the basic setup I am designing to fit under my Fairmont pro stocker.
  16. "I have been waiting for that day for a while now." So have we all, Chris...
  17. My plan, as of now, is to to make plates, all of one style, along with the self-ejecting style of button/retainer. I will also offer an assortment made up of everything except the unlightened plates. It was pointed out to me, and rightly so, that anyone building a car where lightened plates are being used will in all likelihood use all lightened plates. As of now, I'm figuring the single-plate sets will contain 60-ish plates and 84 buttons/retainers. I'm not sure what the assortment set will contain yet.
  18. This build is out-of-this-world great, Clay. You have such an eye for detail with these builds - it's pretty amazing.
  19. It's looking great Chris. I can't believe the level of detail you've put into this build...
  20. Looking forward to seeing what you do on this one, Tyrone. I'm sure it'll be another killer build.
  21. That's looking really, really nice, Mike. The paint looks super and your chassis detailing is excellent!
  22. Your chassis and rear end housing look great, Bart! Your 4-link housing brackets are super, too.
  23. I'm just trying to get ideas for Dzus mounting plate options. There are different styles available. The picture I'm attaching shows the ones I've drawn up. What makes the most sense - offering a variety pack of everything? Individual styles? Mixed plates, like two styles to a package? Looking for ideas/feedback. This is really regardless of scale. Oh, the red lines indicate an etch line or detail.
  24. Your Vette is looking really nice Wayne. What does the TEM fuel cell look like? Just curious....
  25. I'm mesmerized by the quality of your work, Clay.
