  1. That's a tall single-plane, isn't it? You probably know this already but the M&D Hay T-Bird is twin turbo'd I think. Hmmm, I can't think of any "kit" engines that have nearly that much rise on the runners. How tough would it be to scratch build something? Just thinking out loud...
  2. What kind of induction? The Matt and Debbie Hay pro street T-Bird has a Windsor headed engine in it, with a C-6. If you're looking specifically Windsor, that's probably one of the nicer ones I've personally seen done. If you're looking for a canted-valve Cleveland head design, I've developed a very detailed 351C pro stock engine and have most of the mastering done for a high-perf "stock" style of build. Here are a couple pics of a finished one: The current version doesn't come with the PE motor plate. I was mocking up the plate for the pics for a chassis I am building.
  3. Yep, and I bet it's only a matter of time...
  4. It's nice to see the pony cars back in the NHRA pro stock lineup, particularly the Mustangs (since I'm a Ford guy at heart)...
  5. Yes it does. I'm not really a Chevy guy, but those will be cool to have in competition. I actually like the stretched out looks of the P/S body better than the actual car, personally...
  6. It looks super, Dave. Nice paint and the stance and the stance looks just right!
  7. Nice job so far Darryl... Looking forward to more updates...
  8. Thanks Ben. That's very kind of you to say that. I'm trying to do the best I can...
  9. That's a really sharp looking build you've got, Dave. Of course all Ford race cars look good!
  10. Your rolling chassis mockup looks beautiful, Chris. I'm just astounded at the work and level of detail you're bringing to this project.
  11. Thank you, Chris. Coming from someone who does the level of detail you do, that means a lot.
  12. Lookin' sharp Tyrone! You do just such great builds!
  13. Hi Mike, They go together pretty much how they look. I'm attaching some pics of a finished rear end to serve as a reference. You're always welcome to e-mail me if you have any questions, too. Just for the fun of it, here's a pic of a put-together strut front end.
  14. Thanks guys. Lots of ways to do it. This is just one of them...
  15. Everyone's already used all the right words to describe your work, Dave, so I guess I'll just say a simple "WOW"...
  16. Thanks Wayne! I really appreciate your encouragement and kind words...
  17. Those turned out really nice. Thanks for the tutorial...
  18. Your uncle was right, Jay... I don't think there was a better factory Ford engine, pound for pound, than the 351 Cleveland. Shoot, I was really liking the idea of a Ford in a Chevy... LOL
  19. So would I Vince... LOL I'm reworking a Revell T/S pan for my Fairmont. I'm re-using the original tubs and covering them with a skin that will have inverted beads, similar to my pics above. Before adding the skins, I've worked on building out the tubs by using .040" strip and adding it where it needs it. Here's a pic showing how the fit is doing it that way. I'm still planning to add some up in the B-pillar area and probably a bit more around the quarter windows before reskinning it.
  20. That's a super job you've done on your cage and chassis work so far. It's interesting that it's almost impossible to see the difference in tube size. I'm looking forward to updates!
  21. Great! Thanks guys. I'm glad I posted it...
