  1. It's looking great, Rob. As pharr said, your door fit looks super. Keep up the great work!
  2. What a fantastic build, Robert. The detailing is phenomenal and your subject matter is really cool, to boot. I can't wait to see more updates!
  3. Thanks Tyrone. I knew they weren't "stockers" but now that you describe them, it all makes sense... Great job on your progress, by the way! :-)
  4. Hey Tyrone, What struts are you using on this build? They don't look like the regular Revell pieces that come with the kit chassis you use for your builds. You're keeping Revell in business just with all the chassis you use! LOL Also, I really like the way your "tin work" is coming on this build. Keep up the great work!
  5. This might have to be touched up on occasion, but I wonder if just using a black magic marker on the studs would work. I'm sure it wouldn't be as permanent as blueing. It would mimick the color of studs and it wouldn't build up like paint. I don't recall if you've said, but do you get your nuts and washers from scalehardware.com, Chris? Depending on what size you're using, SH has brass and SS nuts and washers, so the SS would give more the appearance like chromed lug nuts and backing washers. Just a thought...
  6. Very impressive, Chris. Your patience and perseverence are inspiring, and the quality of your work is off the chart.
  7. I run out of adjectives describing your builds, Tyrone. Each and every one is a work of art. This one is shaping up to be another in a long line of masterpieces...
  8. That's a great looking start what I'm sure will be another fantastic build, Tyrone.
  9. That's looking great, Ed! If you wouldn't have volunteered it, I'd swear this wasn't your first engine detailing experience. Keep up the fantastic work!
  10. Okay. Thanks Chris... What size did you end up getting for you MC boot?
  11. Hey Chris, Do you know/remember off-hand how much shipping was for your pack of O-rings? I'm wondering how well they'd work for wheelie bar wheels...
  12. Your MC is looking super, Chris, and your O-rings are an excellent idea... Great job!
  13. She's lookin' great, Tyrone! I really like the stance you got it setting at.
  14. I've got some old National Dragsters that are dated 1981. There are A through M/Gas classes listed in the national records portion of the paper, so I know Gas classes existed to then, anyway. I don't have any rule books any more that would give weight breaks.
  15. Sweet pics, above, Bart... Phenomenal work, and even more to boot with the big rig! :-)
  16. Cool video, Bart. That is an excellent design! Thanks for the video clip...
  17. It's lookin' great Tyrone! Of course yours always do...
  18. Yep. They look very similar, but they're enough different that I think it's worth trying to get them made, and I've never seen the crowned S/Ts in the scale 15" style of wheel...
  19. Isn't Jim good? He's helping me with a set of 1/25th scale 15" diameter Super Trick wheels with crowned centers, front and rear. Hopefully I'll have some pics of the finished wheels before too long.
  20. Bart, I looked at the centuryspring site. They've got .063, .078 and .094 OD extensions. Not sure what length you're looking at, but hopefully there'll be something that would help you out. I missed seeing your compliment re my PE parts several entries back. I really appreciate your saying that! Talk to you later... Scott
  21. Hey Bart, Take a look at centuryspring.com They've got a ton of springs, many of which are smaller than .125 OD. Not sure how small you're looking for, but you can search their site. Good luck! Oh...BTW, I love the simplicity of your latch mechanism. It's really a cool feature. Of course your whole build is just chock full of cool features, so I repeat myself... :-)
  22. That's awesome Bart. I'm continually amazed by the quality and detail of your work...
  23. I love it! Is there an award in modeling for going "above and beyond the call of duty"??? LOL Great job... I enjoy seeing your progress.
