Thanks Tyrone. I knew they weren't "stockers" but now that you describe them, it all makes sense... Great job on your progress, by the way! :-) -

Hey Tyrone, What struts are you using on this build? They don't look like the regular Revell pieces that come with the kit chassis you use for your builds. You're keeping Revell in business just with all the chassis you use! LOL Also, I really like the way your "tin work" is coming on this build. Keep up the great work! -

This might have to be touched up on occasion, but I wonder if just using a black magic marker on the studs would work. I'm sure it wouldn't be as permanent as blueing. It would mimick the color of studs and it wouldn't build up like paint. I don't recall if you've said, but do you get your nuts and washers from scalehardware.com, Chris? Depending on what size you're using, SH has brass and SS nuts and washers, so the SS would give more the appearance like chromed lug nuts and backing washers. Just a thought... -

Hey Chris, Do you know/remember off-hand how much shipping was for your pack of O-rings? I'm wondering how well they'd work for wheelie bar wheels... -

question about late Gassers and 70's tire size
futurattraction replied to noname's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I've got some old National Dragsters that are dated 1981. There are A through M/Gas classes listed in the national records portion of the paper, so I know Gas classes existed to then, anyway. I don't have any rule books any more that would give weight breaks. -

It's lookin' great Tyrone! Of course yours always do... -
Bart, I looked at the centuryspring site. They've got .063, .078 and .094 OD extensions. Not sure what length you're looking at, but hopefully there'll be something that would help you out. I missed seeing your compliment re my PE parts several entries back. I really appreciate your saying that! Talk to you later... Scott

Hey Bart, Take a look at centuryspring.com They've got a ton of springs, many of which are smaller than .125 OD. Not sure how small you're looking for, but you can search their site. Good luck! Oh...BTW, I love the simplicity of your latch mechanism. It's really a cool feature. Of course your whole build is just chock full of cool features, so I repeat myself... :-)
