Thanks so much Jeff,,yea those giant mirror brackets looked a bit too much,,just trimmed them off. I also used a leftover parts bx air-cleaner,looks a bit cleaner,,its actually a wheel back from some kit,,dont know which one. I did the snowmobile as if it were ski-doo colors. Ive got the MPC "Mountain Goat" yet to do,,itll make a nice combo on the shelf. Thanks for looking,,Build On! -
Looks great! I saw a original from the 70's Johan kit of this at a local swap meet,,it was like 200$+ nice to see one built

Hi all, hope alls well for ya,,I just finished this Revell "Ice Patrol" kit. Fun kit to do,,sprayed w/Testors "Lime Ice" quickdry enamel,,and some basic wiring and such. Always enjoyed the early 70's AMC products,,my grandpa had a Blue + white interior Jeep Wagoneer ,,had many a fun trip in that one. Enjoy the builds here,,Build on! -
Thanks OSK,,I thought about lowering it,,but I wanted to go stockstance,,those Cragars rims that come in the kit are almost models in and of themselves after 3 different paint tones on them. I was laughing at the wing,,and how "incorrect" it is for the car,,thats why I like it on there,,lol. These things were dragstrip monsters back when,,I was watching YT vids of them on the track. Would be fun to drive thats for sure.

Thanks guys,,forgot to mention I shaved the doorhandles,,and added sportmirrors And I left the wing windows out as well ,,I use my imagination and ponder what if it had a 1 pc window. Its not quite a contest level build,,but I did have fun building it! Enjoy the builds here,,have fun!

Happy New year! This is a version of the Moebius 65 Comet,,kindof an AFX Street car,,sortof. Used some different back tires,,,added headrests,,,,blower on the 289,,,,side dump pipes,,,,and the WING. Every car should have a wing/spoiler right? LOL. Sprayed with Testors Quikdry{"{Icy Blue"},,used stock kit cragars,,just painted them instead of chrome. Did 2 tone interior. Moebius offers a really cool kit to do many different versions,,I may have to get another kit and do a stock version. Thanks for looking and have a safe + happy New year 2019!

Hi all fellow builders,,wishing you a happy thanksgiving coming up. I always enjoy the oddball,,not so popular kits to build. This is one I got for 10$ at April #DAMM show in SE Mich. Its the 1996 pop of Jack Baldwins SCCA trans-am Camaro. First off,,its not the color scheme of the original car,,but I like it in light blue just the same. It went together fairly well,,the decals were scary,,trying to get them to hug the radius scallops/lines on doors ect. I used the decal micro-soft stuff,,and after a while they went on decent. Added some minor wiring/plumbing,, not a contest car,,but a good addition to my shelf. Hope this finds you doing well! Build on!

Hey Howard,,thanks for posting great pics of the show,,I was there with my good friend Alan E,,and it was great fun to see model folks from so many places enjoying the show.. And the quality of the builds was amazing,,always a good time. Thanks to all who showed up,,build on!
