3 wheels,,4 cylinders,,and loads of fun for all! My version of the infamous "TIKI TRIKE". Fun little kits to do,,although I did have to use the maginfier lens to assemble some of this. Sprayed w/Tamiya Mystic green,,custom mix paint for frame,,dechromed everything and sprayed w/Testors Diamond dust. Was thinkin how cool these series would be if they were 1 /8 th scale! I dig the Honda CB 750 mtr in these,,the 1:1 CB 750's make great choppers ,,Im lookin for a used one on Clist to make a chopper in my garage,,fun, fun, fun. Build on!

one of my fav race series,,nice look on yours,,Im still looking for a "Panoz" car from the late 90's{silver one} or the newer one {Red} awsome cars,,but I dont think anybodys made a kit of either one that I know of. -
The world needs more mavericks,,nice look there

My goodness,,when will the 4 wheel madness end? lol. I couldnt help but bash this Revell Continental Mk 2 into a drag strip warrior,,,,,installed a larger motor {427},,bucket seats,,different wheels. Cut the roof off,,installed a Corvette windshield,,other than that its somewhat stock,, painted w/Testors quikdry,,hand painted everything else. Its gonna drive to drinkin,,if I dont stop buildin this hot ,,rod,,lincoln.

Thanks folks,,I forgot to mention,,I changed out the drivers seat for a race seat,,and added a headrest on the stock riders side seat as well. And added another roll bar to front area of roll bar. Its not quite the original version of his white one,,but its a got a few xtras,,and different paint scheme. And I should have blown out the interior before pics to get that "hair" off the shifter,,lol And yes,,I painted seat belts on,,lol. Cheers!

Howdy all,,this is the Revell muscle series 2n1 kit,,I decided to do the race version. And as always I do a different paint scheme than what is normally pictured on box art. Here I was in a "Shelby" N "Shindona" mood when I built this,,hence the blue w/white stripes,,and the spoiler on trunk,,blacked out rear lens area. Air scoops on sides behind doors. Revell did a great job with the motor choices,,interior and everything else,,, looks good,,but I dont understand the design of the rims with the "ribs" going all around the insides making it near impossible to mount the tires on? Really? I always like the traditional 2 pc rims that can be put together 1/2 at a time as I always paint my rims one way or another on most builds. And after painting these I kept the front rims after dremmeling off "The Ribs" on rims for front,,and changed the back rims to traditional Rally 2 pc rims. Used testors quikdry blue,,hand painted the rest, all in all,,I happy with the kit,,I have yet to build the Hemi Cuda Muscle series kit,,fun kits ,,and they look decent when done. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

LOL,,yea I remember those books,,I always like to have a color contrast on the underside,,instead of all black or whatever. Highlights the components. Thanks for the kind comments to all.

super clean! -
Actually,,the larger kits are easier to do,,IMO. All the detail work is much larger,,which is easier to see,,and work with. Now it does use up more paint ,,glue ect,,but thats ok. Try one,,you may like doing a 1/16th,,like maybe the Nomad? Heres a 1/8th Entax Bugatti ,,customer build
-
Actually,,Id like to get the 1/16th 55, sedan convt,,,,AND the Nomad as well,,you can add so much x-tra features to the large kits. Thanks all for the kind comments,,enjoy your works as well!

It could be the pics,,not sure,,but the rear bumper is a bit closer to the rear deck panel after I removed about 1/8 inch from lower portion of bumper for a tighter fit,,maybe thats it. Im not sure what the exact wheelbase is on the 1:1,,but the body overall length hasnt been modified at all. I may get the large Nomad kit also,,that would be cool.

I should at least paint it brown for realisim b4 clear coating it,,,theres an old race car movie from the late 50's called "Johnny Dark" that stars Tony Curtis where they did exactly that to a potato in one of the restraunt scenes,,great movie BTW
