  1. thanks much,,sorry bout late reply,, after finishing this kit,,I jumped right into the large 1/16th 57' Chevy AMT released,,and when I get goin on a kit,,I dont use internet much,,just for reference pics mostly. Thanks for the comments,,you all build great stuff also! One of the best things about this site is all the great builds that inspire!!! Build On !!
  2. Happy 2021 all,,glad to see 2020 in my rearview mirror. recently finished this AMT 1/16th kit,,added a few x-tras over the holidays. Used testors quikdry blue,,hand painted the rest. As always the large AMT kits go together well,,for the most part,,and look pretty good when done. Wishing you all the best for 2021. S
  3. I think what I should really do is go to my local costume shop,,get the rubber godzilla suit,,put it on ,,and go shopping at walmart and see if anybody notices
  4. the guy is awsome,, I watch his YT stuff whenever I get a chance
  5. ya know I was watching a Rodan vrs Godzilla movie today,{strictly for educational purposes only} and its amazing all the modelset work in those movies,,no CGI at all,,buildings,,cars,,city sets,,oceans..mountians,,operating military vehicles. I think about all the building and work that went into all that,,very impressive.
  6. lol,,I often wonder the same thing,,yes I play/write/perform live ,,do co-writes for screenwriters,,opened for national acts,,play T-40 classic rock in clubs in SE mich...check it out: Im the guy in the blue shirt https://fandalism.com/10kdb/e029
  7. Really nice,,cool truck to drive I bet
  8. Thanks folks,,lol yea its quite a safety feature for the rider,,hey I almost forgot to include a pic of the vulture //condor that came in the kit,,he looks like hes in a mood ,,lol
  9. looks great,,I may have to get this one
  10. Thanks guys,,Ive seen some other builds of this out there and I dont know how they did all the paint /decal work like the 1;1 truck,,I did notice that there were really small raised "guidelines" on the body to paint inside of to help with the paint scheme,,but it would have been quite an undertaking for my skill level,,maybe next time,,build on!
  11. Thanks 340,,it was a flashblob,,but after I cleaned up everything it came out ok,,cheers!
  12. Very nice,,I thought it may have been a Vincent at 1st look,,but not so. Nice bike
  13. Great build,,that would make a cool flattrack bike
  14. My,,what a time trip back for this one. Always enjoy the big scale bike kits,,and was glad to see this one repopped. I changed the paint scheme a bit,,added some x-tra wiring,,changed the footpegs to some Harley gear. Hope the kit mfg's keep up the big scale bike kits. Wonder if this was ever a 1:1 bike on the show circuits?
  15. I enjoy building jets,,planes and auto/trucks kindof breaks the pace a bit,,and many of the jets/planes are easier to build,,IMO
  16. Howdy folks,,long time no see,,well as far as posting that is. The shut downs havent shutdown my building bench thats for sure,,always have somthin goin on. So this is a kit I,picked up last NNL show in detroit{before all the cvd BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH started} its the Tyronemalone SuperBoss drag truck. When I got the kit I saw the paint/decal work required,,and wow,, big job for sure,,so I decided to do my own type of paint/decal work,,simplified it for my skillset. There was no way I could have done the exact paint/decal as the box art shows. At any rate,,there were some fitment issues with the kit,,like the exhaust exit spots at the hood,,had to dremmel some space for those so hood would fit right. Also scrtchbuilt stronger spar supports for rear wing,,cut the side windows out to see interior better. Other than that,,bx stock. its still was a fun kit to do,,and looks decent on the shelf,,and thats all I really need from it. Wishing you all the best in these crazy times. S
  17. @ DonW Ok,,what year is the FiFi? Looks to be from the 20's or 30's era. I still cant believe they would drive those open top,,no roll bars,,leather helmut +goggles . And people right along side of the tracks w/haybales for retainers!
  18. Cool cat! looks like it could have been a regular raced car at any track,,nice job
  19. That kicks ass!! really cool idea blending the 2 kits. neat
