  3. Here the first picture of my conversion of Revell's RML to a RM. I'm going to build one of those RM's that were shipped to Sri Lanka
  4. Der sieht Klasse, wesentlich besser als das Modell was in einer deutschen Modellbauzeitung veröffentlicht wurde. Sorry guys, great looking model
  5. It is so easy to order stuff from the Super Store at Shapeways. It took only 2 weeks to get parts. And the shipment via TNT is also easy. Here some pictures of my 427 frame I can't smell super glue any more! But i have to prepare more parts.
  6. What about those customer how live overseas? A self stamped envelop is ok, but where can I get US Mail stamps here in Germany?
  7. I want to add my two cents. I'm living in Germany and dealing with Steve is no problem. He is a helpful guy, he gives you a reply on your questions. I also could recommend Norm Webber from RMoM. The only problem that I have with US based supplier in general is DHL here in Germany.
  8. While sorting my model kits I found a long missed kit that I I had started after my Canada visit in 2006. Some day I lost interest and I forgot it. The body is from Perry's Resin. I think the rims are out of '58 Pacer. For the grill is a combination of a '54 Chevy grill and a piece of the '53 Ford. grill surrounding. The Headlights are from a '57 Ford Victoria. The interior is my first experience in making my own tuck and roll.
  9. That's how a Lancia Thema here in Europe should look like.
  10. My '51 Mercury convertible is nearly finished. I had applied the final clear coat. The interior is now finished. Some items like front indicator and the rear bumper are missing. I had made a new one because the chrome on the first one was everything but not chrome. I'm a bit disappointed on the chrome of the Buick grille from Modelhaus. It isn't that good as expected.
  11. Now to the tHermador Cooler Materials that are needed 2 x 0.113" tube 1 x 0.193" tube 1 x 0.230" tube 2 x 0.058" half round strips 0.030" plastic sheet Metal foil
  12. Currently I'm working on some swamp cooler's for my models. Here the first pictures. I had use 5.85 mm ( about 0.230 ") tube, with a 5 mm (0.194") tube as a insert. A conical mill was used to get a conical inlet. The end caps were made out of conical shaped scap material that I found somewhere. 0.06 x 0.25" sheet was used as air outlet. I also working on a Thermador car cooler. Until it is finished I'll post some pictures. These swamp cooler are easy to make.
  13. Here some pictures of an older build. I had changed the engine of a '99 Mustang Cobra and front & rear axle from another Mustang. The flathead engine of this kit was used for another project. Exhaust made out of solder wire, while the mufflers were turned on my lathe Rims are from Peagus Detail Master billet steering wheel on a aluminum steering column A few parts where lost, because it the model was shown at several shows in Germany, Netherlands & Belgium.
  14. Some more pictures
  15. Awesome.
  16. Hi, while I'm a Ford guy I got a Ford V3000S from ICM. The model is in 1/35. I wouldn't build it as a military truck, so I converted the German V3000S into a US build 198T. While both models are the same except that the V3000S was build in Germany during WW 2 this is an easy conversion. The flatbed is scratch build from sheet and wood strips. I hope that this one will be finished soon.
  17. After my '49 Mercury Convertible I had move a bit forward with my '51 Mercury convertible. Paint is Candy Green over gold and silver base coat. The paints are Zero Colors.
  18. Here some pictures form this year Model car Show in Frankfurt /Germany This engine is scratch build in scale 1/8 Excellent work from Zelkam The V6 engine is from a Ford Ranger More pictures here Frankfurt Model Car Show[/url

  20. Here are some pictures Helmet air cleaner, cylinder heads, intake and Strombergs from Model Car Garage Engine from 1937 Ford Pickup. The transmission is from Replicas Miniatures of Maryland Exhaust made out of solder wire, Mufflers turned on my lathe like the drive shaft
  21. Here some pictures of my current project 1949 Mercury Convertible The body is from Replicas Miniatures
  22. Today I got my first frame parts. The quality is much better than the older parts like the Allision. Great stuff. In my opinion it is worth the money.
