  1. I'll be cruising the state this summer, hoping to see everything there is to see. Let's hope my bug will make it! If the new dune buggy gets done soon I may take it instead.
  2. Here are a few I shot while camping last August. This is all part of an under construction out door museum in Molson, WA. They also have a museum set up in the old school building down the highway. They are still organizing things and trying to get more local stuff onto the property. This is the Molson bank, it IS the original building, complete with teller stations, a walk it safe and all the tech of the time. These are just a couple shots of the NUMEROUS farm implements that are scattered throughout the area I am not sure exactly what this does, but it looks vicious, it has a gas engine inside the spiked wheel to drive it. One if the original signs that used to be set up this side of the US/Canada border This is an abandoned home about a quarter mile from the museum on one of the back roads I will dig up more, I have TONS.
  3. LOL, yeah Jim, I call her the "Fat bottom girl"
  4. That two tone with the airbrush looks excellent Jim, nice engine detail too!
  5. VERY NICE Chuck! Love it, I have one on the shelf, wasn't sure which direction to go, now I know, thanks for the inspiration. Live the color choice and wheels, simple, yet elegant!
  6. Excellent color choice, engine detail looks good, and looks like you used the optional '38 grill, right on!
  7. Well, I finally got something off the bench! With school out, yard work done and most of my VW issues fixed, I have time to start building again. This was a built up from a LONG time ago, I built it as a "lowrider" for some rediculous reason, but it took first at the Good Guys contest a few years back. I only have one photo of it before, but it was ugly, you could see the primer through the base coat in places, the wheels did it no justice, engine was a very basic flat head... So I tore it down, started from the beginning, and wow did it turn out sweeet! (I think, though I'm still having trouble getting the hood to sit right.) Color is Ford Sunrise Red Pearl, interior is two tone custom mixed by me. I used a little flocking for the rear carpet, and added snaps to the boot. Under the hood is a Revell parts pak Ford 427. Air filters, wheels/tires from parts boxes and I scratched the front and rear roll pans from styrene and added some BMF. This is the before shot: These are after:
  8. SWEET 720! I had one, loved it to death (literally). I love the detail you put into it, and the paint looks phenominal!
  9. Love it! Subtle, but noticeable. Excellent work!
  10. you know, I suppose it's about time I get back to these builds. With school out for a while and only part time work, I should have plenty of time to get back to the bench. Life has slowed down enough... This is where I left off, and I hope to make some progress this evening...
  11. Simply awesome!
  12. WOW, that looks amazing! The color suits it well and the interior is sweet!
  13. Now that's just BANANAS! Saw these on Facebook a few weeks ago
  14. Amazing, you pulled off that black paint job very well! I love the look of a factory stock Merc. Excellent job, and I love the diorama scene!

NICE! Love the look of it, great job! ...and it is still rocking a 6 volt generator, YEAH!
  16. Awesome, good to see you guys keeping this going, it is always great to know and see the families who put up with the insanity modelling brings with it. Love all the pets especially!
  17. You know, when I saw the title of the topic, I wasn't sure what to think. Something didn't look right when I saw all that roof and side panel, but the finished product looks bloody kewl! Love it!
  18. That is ULTRA KEWL! Now that I have seen a few of these done, I definitely am going to build one...
  19. Jim, it looks great, love the color and details! SHINY!!!
  20. WOW!! Amazing work Dominik, makes me want to build another! The attention to detail is great! I love it! How did you get the rear glass to look that way?
  21. Well since I have seen topics on what we drive, who we are, what we look like, why we chose our forum names, etcetera etcetera etcetera... How about the rest of the family? I say we get a topic going on who the rest of the family is, including pets of course. I'll start off My wife Michelle, daughter Whitney, and son Ronnie and, my big brainless creature, Tyson
  22. Full extension of my left arm, rest it on the end of the bench, and walk with a slow, outward swiping motion... Good call, I need to re organize again today, for some reason all the leftover parts from my recent builds get left on the table, I clean mine up once every couple weeks.
  23. NICE! I have the Tamiya kit, stalled for now because I am waiting to finish my 1:1 so I know how to weather the model.
  24. That's great Frank, I'll have to remember that. Jonathan, it's not a big issue if you teach them early on, my nephew on the other hand is all about Hotwheels, and he thinks he can play as rough with anything else as he does with those.
