  9. Well, let's see, We have: B&B Hobbies at 907 E. Francis Hobbytown USA at 9324 N. Division Michaels at 7630 N. Division and 15523 E. Broadway Hobby Lobby at 13902 E. Indiana ...and of course White Elephant at 1730 N. Division and 12614 E. Sprague If it is price and most recently released kits you are looking for, the caucasian pachyderm is the best place to go. Hobbytown USA carries some detailing stuff but most kits are around suggested retail price. B&B is a bit more expensive on some but cheap on others (ranging from $12-$35) and they have a tons of OOP kits. Michael's is pretty limited on what they carry and I don't buy much there without the weekly coupon. Hobby Lobby carries just about the same stuff as White Elephant but is a little more pricey. Hope this helps!
  10. EXCELLENT!!
  11. Simply beautiful, the colors make that car really look amazing, and all that chrome!
  12. Wow, I am drooling again. GREAT work there, makes me feel a bit ashamed at what I build this year...
  13. Wait, wait wait...*grabs towel to wipe drool from desk* That is amazing work! Congratulations my friend, mighty fine work!
  14. Actually, it is a "Hemi," the highboy engine assembly reffers to the car itself. A '32 or "Deuce" highboy is a car with no fenders. The Coupe engine assembly reffers to the option to build the car with fenders. So, the car is a "highboy" with a Hemi, or a coupe with a 302.
  15. Law & Order Criminal Intent, I remember that episode, good one.
  16. Bob builds a replica of the bus from Speed (including a Keanu Reeves figure) in the 11th episode of the failed TV series Bob's Burgers. The Blues Brothers featured a large "stunt" model Monaco for some of the big chase scene.
  17. I like this style, "honey comb" is an extremely strong/rigid design, and look what they can do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pja6vKnEV4E&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jYcX_D09ig&feature=related
  18. Excellent job, weathering looks tremendous!
  19. Wow, out of context, and without the photo, that could have been a REALLY strange thing to say Looks pretty cool so far!
  20. Painting over chrome almost never works for me, it just flakes and peels off. I second what Jordan says, oven cleaner, never fails.
  21. It isn't a truck per se, but I built this about 12 years ago at 12 yo, recently traded it off so I thought I would post a few photos before we see it rebuilt.
  22. WAIT, NOOOOO, can I change my vote?!
  23. Love it, VERY classy! That color is perfect for that car, and the wires really add to the smooth look of this build, wonderful!
