  1. I am not much into the whole Hotwheels mods, but this one is freakin sweet, excellent job man!
  2. Variables, proportions, demensions, blah blah blah blah blah...It's all relative. When it really comes down to it, that 1/25 Camaro or that block of steel, will weigh what ever you want it to weigh. If I believe I only weigh 200lbs, that is how much I weigh. I don't care if that scale with all those contraptions and doodads in it says 300lbs. Reality is only what you perceive it to be people!
  3. Simply astonishing.
  4. That's it? What ever happened to this thing? I would like to know how it turned out if it got done, I just bought this kit and wasn't sure how it actually looked when completed...
  5. Fit was perfect, no work required, I was quite happy with it!
  6. I looked this over once before and was amazed at what you have done, it looks absolutely astonishing. Great detail and those decals are a perfect touch.
  7. Love the concept, love the detail, that bug is bad ass. I just keep coming back to look at it!
  8. Beautiful.
  9. Got the visor from a Revell '39 Chevy coupe. I may try my hands at casting some so I have them available for the 30's-40's builds.
  10. Thanks for the info Curt, I plan on building a few more of these old hooch mobiles. I was also told by some of my older relatives that they were generally painted in dark colors with the chrome stripped to make them less visible in rural areas at night, I suppose it makes sense, but is that right?
  11. Built this as sort of a shine runner. I know it has a bit too much chrome for that sort of operation (far too flashy) but I think it looks quite nice that way. All the trim is BMF, engine has a few details and parts box add ons (though I forgot to add the throttle linkage I bought for it ) interior was done is a simple two tone tan with a satin black dash. Finished with satin clear on black lacquer. I noticed that the hood doesn't quite fit right, AMT give the option of the '39 or '40 grille/hood set, but neither hood fits the '39 girlle. Guess I should have done a little more test fitting before paint . Anyhow, have a look and tell me what you think!
  12. Man those things are cool, where did you get them? I want to get my hands on a few for my garage dio. Excellent work!
  13. AAAHAHAHA! LMAO Complete with a pull string and phrases such as "Eh why don't I say it f*****g right?!" "What does the G** d*** line say Tony?" and "Son of a b****, get out of here you f****** flies!
  14. Aw, freakin' sweet! I have always wanted one of those, tough kit to find these days. Yiu did an excellent job on this one!
  15. A Ford engine in a Chevy? BLASPHEMY!! SACRILEGIOUS! But other than that, that truck looks great! Love the curve in the bed and the roof chop looks excellent! From what I can see the interior looks great too, keep up the good work!
  16. Okay, I love the Shell station, but I have to poke at you a bit. It is no where near realistic with THOSE fuel prices
  17. No Schmidt? That looks great so far, I am starting to get back into the big rigs, hoping to gather up a few before the new year.
  18. Love it! Colors look great and the exhaust is spot on!
  19. It looks to me like some sort of Vette-Beatnik Bandit-Gypsy Buggy-Lil' Coffin hybrid. With patience and determination I think you can do it, try it, dee what you can come up with!
  20. Oh don't get me started, DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED! Just recently I mailed a MO, came back "not enough postage." In Feb I next day aired a few built kits VERY WELL PACKED, for NNL West, they were destroyed and the box was smashed and ripped open, pieces missing and all...Just two of the many issues I have had this past year...I think it depends on your local PO sometimes.
  21. Oh MAN! That is funny, I love it! Looks amost like my '74 did when I bought it. I second the steel wheel idea, those alloys don't quite look right.
  22. Absolutely GORGEOUS!
  23. Superchargers on top of tunnel rams, interesting idea, and quite a cool build so far, keep it going!
  24. Thanks guys, it was my first attempt with my new airbrush.
