  1. Painting work....
  2. Extinguisher Hood underneath structure and body preparation More primer to go...
  3. Steering wheel Accelerator Linkage Bumpers
  4. Inside door structure shock absorber ... using a coil from a cigarette lighter More machined pieces
  5. Wheels Steering unit and caliper support exhausts A big issue of this kit is the junction of the exhaust to the exhaust manifold. Hardly going to hit. So I decided to merge the parts. I put two pins on each side of the engine block and stuck in the collector, to provide a secure fit when closing the kit. Linkage of the steering bar With a extra help from my Sherline Lathe LOL
  6. rear wheel housings wider tires Using a second set of the original tires to make one wider (wider rear tire, wider front tire and original front tire) Fixation of radiator and inner panels (new ones) No radiator attachment point. So I created some channels to support and it and also made two channels to support the front wheel housings that does not come with the kit (made with styrene) front suspension I decided to set the susp. before painting and already glued in the chassis, so I could made some putty work on it. I removed both A-arms and remade with styrene. In addition, they were stuck and with orthodontic stainless steel wire. And redid the pivot and added micro screws.
  7. Hi guys. My intention is to replicate this car Substitution of the roll bar Modification of rear wheel housing to accommodate wider tires

  9. Done! I would hate to see in this list the GMC "Butterscorched" pickup... so work done so far... LOL And my vote for #1 certainly would be to 0032... too bad it isn't in the list.
  10. Guys, can you tell me what is going on? This "new" kit from Lindberg, in this current art box, says it is 1/25 scale. But as you may know, there is already a Flintmobile kit from the same Lindberg (circa 1993) but in 1/20 scale So.. is it a TYPO in this last version or is a new tooling, moreover, a TYPO on the first issue???? I mean, what is the scale anyway? Any thoughts?
  11. Amazing! Keep on good work!
  12. Does someone knows if there is a resin option for 60's Ford Econoline van/pickup?
  13. Hi guys. I already made my homework and Googled for reference and pictures but aditional help is always welcome! ... and a question: the Polar Lights kit has both 427 & 429 engines. Which one should I have to use? Which one is more emblematic or have any history/achievement on Petty's hands? Thanks guys! Have a great new year!
  14. afx, thanks for the help, but unfortunately, this link is not working :-(
  15. Hey guys. Could you please point me a few good websites in order to get some cool ideas for an e-group? Me and other fellas are going to build the same kit (Revell Shelby Cobra 427) and would be nice if you help us with references. Racing cars, customs, replicas, tuning, etc etc. Any subject is welcome. Already googled, but any additional help is appreciated! Thanks.
  16. I don't have words to describe how grateful I´m!!!! Thank you so much for the help and for the links!!!! It sure will help a lot of modelers.
  17. Hi people. Does anybody know what is this part? Any more pictures or reference about it? Already googled but unfortunately no good results It is located inside a sort of bay on upper side of the gear box. Thanks guys!

  19. ohh... really??? Now I became sad again
  20. Thanks guys... I didn't know about RMR option... too bad for me So.. if it is 1/27 scale, WHY JF ANNOUNCE IT AS 1/25???????? http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/viewitem.php?productid=624 This is not cool.... JF HHR resin body = going to trash! Resin body from RMR is way way better!!!!
  21. Hi guys... I recently bought this resin body and for my surprise when I opened the box I saw a smaller body than I expected. Searching on the web I found this: According to this chart, the wheelbase in scale should have around 4" right? Well, unfortunately it hasn't... Take a look the comparison with a Revell´s Beetle... It should be a little bigger, right? Any thoughts?
  22. Nice.. Which kit offers these Daisy Mag wheels?
  23. Nice work!!! I would love to see this model of Fuchs:
